Y/n's pov

I've been feeling a bit weird recently. Don't get me wrong, I love the mortal world but I'm feeling kinda homesick.

I guess I'm just used to walking in a field of flowers everyday for centuries and centuries that actually talking to people and doing all sorts of stuff is exhausting.

I think Ghostbur noticed that, because he came up to me and asked me if I was ok.

"I'm ok, no need to worry" I smiled at him "Thanks for asking though"

"No, you're not okay, you've been off recently, tell me what's wrong." he looked a bit concerned.

I hesitated for a second, debating if I should tell him or not.

"I guess I'm just.... Homesick.. If you can call that a home."

"Awh Y/n, we could go back for a couple of days if you want to. We can go back there anytime" he reassured me

"Really?" my face lit up

"Of course!"

We smiled at each other for a minute.

"Ok are you ready?" I asked Ghostbur

"I am" he said looking down at me

"Hold my hand" I said

He grabbed my hand and looked around for the last time, well the last time today, and everything went dark. Then, when I opened my eyes we were back on the well-known field.

"How do you even do that?" he asked

I raised my shoulders "Ghost instincts"

He laughed.

"We're back, huh?"

"I guess we are" I smiled at him, and he returned the gesture

"So what now?" he asked "What did you do here for fun all these years?"

"Well I didn't really do much... Usually just walked around and watched people from the real world do.. Real world stuff" I shrugged

He laughed

"How about we make flower crowns?"

"That sounds fun. You know how?"

"I can try" He grabbed my wrist and dragged me along with him through the field while picking up flowers.

"There" he picked up the flower crown and placed it on my head.
"It looks nice on you"

I placed mine on his head and smiled
"Could say the same for you"
