Still Ghostbur's pov:

So it's been like half an hour since we met up with Tubbo, and now the potions are finally done and it's time to go set up the picnic.

Niki, Phil and Tubbo all drank the potions and after about 5 minutes we were all in the field.

"Wow, this is way prettier than I imagined" Niki said looking around

"Yeah, it is" Tubbo agreed

"Well... should we get started?"

They all nodded and we got to work. We found a spot with less flowers so we won't crush them, we placed down a blanket and the picnic basket on it.

Niki took out some plates, 2 glasses and a bottle of *insert whatever juice you like, or water* out of the basket, but left the food inside.

"Well this looks nice" Phil said

"Agreed. What now?" Tubbo said looking at me

"Well I think we should go back now.. It's been almost 2 hours since I left Y/n with Karl"

So there I was, yet again, walking on the prime path, this time alone, going to get Y/n on a picnic date without her knowing.

I really hope she likes it. I hope she likes me...

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a well-known laugh.

Y/n.

I looked up and she was also walking on the prime path with Karl, talking.

"Y/n!" I smiled at her

She looked at me and smiled, coming twords me, with Karl behind her.
She gave me a quick hug.

"Hi" she smiled softly

I couldn't help but blush a little

"Hey. I have a surprise for you"

Her face lit up "Really?"

"Yeah, really"

"Uh.. So I think I'm gonna go now, it was fun hanging out with you Y/n" said Karl who apparently just stood there akwardly this whole time

"Oh.. alright then, bye Karl!" Y/n said.

"Bye!" I waved at him

"So... you have a surprise for me?"

"Right! The surprise. Come with me"

And with that, we were on our way to the field.

Y/n gasped "Ghostbur! You did all this?"

"Well.. I had some help"

"Ghostbur this is amaizing, thank you so much!"

She came over to me and gave me a hug.

"Heh.. no problem" I smiled at her "Now let's go and eat."

"Okay"

We went and sat on the blanket and started eating and talking about anything and everything.

After we finished eating, we decided to just sit there for a while and look at the cornflower field. I've seen it so many times, yet it still surprises me of how beautiful it looks.

"Y/n?" I started

"Hm?"

"I have a confession to make.. And I don't know how you will react.."

She looked at me and tilted her head slightly

"You can tell me anything, Ghostbur, I won't be mad at you whatever it is"

"I- uh.. I like you, Y/n." I said as fast as I could, closing my eyes. It felt nice letting it out but at the same time I was scared to look at Y/n and see her reaction. But what's the worst that could happen... right?

Y/n was silent, so I opened my eyes. She was looking at the field... blushing? No, I must be imagining things.

"uh.. Y/n?"

Y/n'pov (finally) :

I looked away from him. Was this a prank? Does he really like me?

"uh.. Y/n?" Ghostbur looked at me

"Uh, yeah?"

"I- did you hear what I said?"

"... so.. I- are you gonna say anything about it or..?"

"I like you too, idiot."

"Wait really?" he looked surprised

"Yeah.."

We started into each others eyes.
