it was a few days after Penelope came over. I wasn't back to work yet, but the team had been visiting, I was feeling better.

Derek had been sending over case files so I could look over them at home.

They were working on a revenge killer case, she was working throughout Virginia and North Carolina, the team managed to ID her through a partial print,

Mya Green, but it had been five days and they hadn't been able to track her down yet, female killers had a way of dropping off the radar which made them difficult to find.

The press gave her the nickname of 'The Baroness' because of her MO and victimology.

She kills high ranking officials with money, power and status. In her manifesto entitled 'privilege,' she talks of killing inherited wealth and people born into money, complaining of the lack of hard-working people in power.

I was looking through the case files when JJ texts me.

"Hey, can I ask you a favour, could you take Henry for a couple of hours? It would help me out and I think it would be good for you x"

I arrived at JJs house 20 minutes later, "you look better" she smiled,

"Yeah, thank you" as I spoke Henry ran through the doorway "Auntie Esme",

"Hey you" I laughed picking him up in a hug.

"Do you want to go get ice cream?" "Yeah" Henry replied smiling, "Alright, say bye to your Mom" I whispered.

"Bye Mom, love you," Henry said, hugging JJ and running towards the car.

"Thanks, Esme," JJ said laughing, I waved as I strapped Henry into the car.

We sat in the park when I saw her, her hair was dyed brown and shorter-

It wouldn't be uncommon for me to see people in a crowd who weren't really there - and I'd only seen one picture of her. A blurry image captured on truck stop CCTV.

Coming back to reality I realised I had been staring at her, our eyes locked.

Henry, eating his ice-cream on the grass, looked up at me. "I just going to call Uncle Aaron, okay?" I said.

Reaching for my phone, I saw her getting closer

"Hotch, she's here, Mya, at the park in Chamberlain Village, she's got a gun. Alright Henry it's time to go honey." I said down the phone,

"Henry's there?" Hotch said in a concerned tone, practically shouting down the phone.

Getting up from the grass, I picked up Henry holding him in front of me, he wrapped his hands around my neck as I quickly walked towards the car.

I turned to see her walking towards me, she was tall wearing a dark hoodie and grey cargo pants.

Picking up the pace, I fumbled in my pocket getting my car keys, unlocking the car, and getting in.

Henry sat on my lap, the back of his head resting on the steering wheel, I put the keys in the ignition, after trying three times to start the car, I noticed the no gas symbol,

"son of a bitch" I whispered.

Henry looked up at me "What's going on?" he said, his eyes full of innocence,

"Nothing honey, we're just out of gas, that's all".
