It's been a couple of weeks, it's ball day. George and I have been hanging out constantly. And today Madie and I forgot to ask people to let us get ready with them.
"Syd Cho and Hermione are doing it together, we'll join them," Madie says nonchalantly
"Okay" I sigh not wanting to argue
"Hey guys," SYD says, perfect timing, I laugh
"A bunch of the girls are getting ready in my dorm, since there's not a lot of stuff, if you guys want to get ready in my room you can." They tell us. What are you like a mind reader?
"That sounds nice," Madie says looking at me equally confused on whether this is a coincidence or magic
"Yeah, who's going to be there?" I ask
"Cho, Pansy, and Hermione. That's it." They tell us
"Sounds like a plan," Madie says clapping her hands together, I sigh.
I had my dress ordered from Tonks and she sent it to me through the mail, while MADIE didn't know what to wear so I picked out hers.
"It's time to get readdyyyy" Madie whisper yells to me, and then immediately starts talking to the others
"Yeah, we will go grab our dresses from our dorms then meet you in your dorm," Madie says excitedly
"The Slytherin common room password is Slytherin snake. Don't ask." Syd says laughing. I laugh abruptly at the password and no one notices.
At the Gryffindor table, George was sitting there.
"So, what does your dress look like?"
"Guess you'll find out later" I laugh, give him a slight kiss on the cheek and leave.
Syd takes us into the common room where We see some girls and guys chatting waiting to start getting ready.
They unlock the dorm door and make their way over to the closet. They pull out their dresses and hand them to each girl. While I examine the room, 'cool' I think to myself, then I look at the dresses,
Syd has a stunning blue gown, with a corset type top with flower detailing on the sides, that flows out on the bottom and falls past my feet, and has a slit up the front, with big puffy mesh sleeves.
Cho is wearing a light pink dress with spaghetti straps and deep v- neckline, and a ton of gold detailing all down the dress, it drapes onto the ground and hugs her perfectly.
Hermione is wearing a stunning pink and almost maroon-purple dress with layers of different colors that suit her amazingly.
Pansy is wearing a stunning off the shoulder emerald green dress, that poofs out at the bottom and has flowery detailing at the top that fades into the bottom
"So what makeup are you guys doing?" Syd asks.
"Simple light pink eyeshadow and lip gloss," Hermione tells us, ugh perfect with her dress
"Sparkly pink eyeshadow and gold eyeliner with sparkly lip gloss," Cho says, damn these girls have a taste
"Black lipstick with emerald green eyeliner," Pansy says picking up her dress and walking into the bathroom.
"A shade of lipstick that matches my dress and black eyeliner," I say, my dress is a maroon spaghetti strap dress that hits to about my ankles with a slip that comes up to a little above their mid-thigh. I pair it with black strappy heels and gold studs, my dress isn't much but it means everything to me, my mom wore it on the day she met my dad.
