Y/n's POV
It's been a week since Billie's been in jail, I've only talked to her twice..I've been spending more time with Drew. She's been even more stressed since Zoe woke up, it was hard to be around the both of them especially when Zoe can't remember a thing that's happened this month..
"How do they expect me not to stress.."
Drew mumbled as we walked out of the hospital cafeteria.
"You have every right to be stressed.."
I said while glancing at her.
"I'm just not understanding how they expect her to do all these therapies when she can't even walk.."
"She has to learn..?"
She sighed sitting in a random lobby chair, I sat beside of her opening my bag of chips.
"The hospital bills are getting higher...and higher."
She said while yanking open her sushi container.
"Everything will be okay."
I said while stuffing my face with chips, I don't know why I keep surrounding myself with more and more stress. I'm just lonely..Billie's not around to keep me occupied.
"Have you talked to Bil today..?"
"Nope..she said she would call but I'm not holding my breath."
"I'm sorry.."
She mumbled while stuffing her face with sushi, I shrugged.
Finneas's POV
I anxiously stood on my parents porch, was this a good idea? No..but I have to do this. I raised my hand and quietly knocked.
"Just a minute!"
My moms voice yelled from behind the door, it slowly opened she gasped covering her mouth.
"Finneas!? Honey it's finneas!"
She said while walking forward hugging me, I laughed slightly hugging her back.
"Hey mom.."
"How were you able to come here!? Don't you have school?"
She said pulling away from the hug observing me.
"I took a couple weeks off.."
"Why would you do that- you know what I don't care! I'm just glad you're here..."
She said smiling, my dad walked up behind her smiling at me.
