Billie's POV

"I can't go with you."

I glanced at my mom groaning.

"Why?"

"Legally youre 18 now.."

"Okay..tell them mentally I don't know I'm 18?"

She shook her head putting the car in park.

"Billie listen to me..when you go in there answer all the questions they have to your best ability don't ramble."

I nodded opening the door sliding out.

"I'll be parked here."

Ignoring her I slowly made my way to the entrance, they just let a bitch start walking today and they expect me to do all this? Exhausting.

"Billie! Right?"

A random officer said while opening the door.

"Uh yea.."

"Great! Follow me.."

He forced a smile walking down the hallway, I followed nervously looking around.

"Here we are."

He stopped in front of a door scanning his badge, I watched as it opened he gestured for me to go first that's some government shit.

"You don't have to sit beside her."

Great.

I slowly walked in seeing Loni and her parents sitting in front of the desk, I sat down on the opposite side.

"I'm glad you could all be here today."

The officer said while sitting behind his desk, Loni had her eyes on me from the minute I walked in here.

"Can we just get to it."

Loni's mom said sternly, she can have both of her parents but the crip can't have her mom? Makes sense..

"Billie.."

I looked towards him.

"Let's start with you."

"Okay.."

"Do you remember anything...?"

I forced a laugh shaking my head.

"I wish."

He nodded glancing towards Loni.

"Do you want to tell your side and maybe that will trigger something for Billie?"

She nodded turning towards me.

"Early in the day..Billie messaged me asking me to meet up at the park with her for a art project. I of course was all for it..So we met up."
