CHAPTER TWO

⛔Amarhi P.O.V.⛔

It was now Wednesday again, oh how I loved them for me it was always the day that let me know that I'd made it halfway through the long ass week. Valentines day was now only 3 days away. The closer it got the more I thought about how once again I wasn't gone be nobody valentine, I been moping around since Monday.  I mean but what can I really expect I don't really open up to too many people. Devin said he would be my valentine like the old days but he has a girlfriend so I told him not to worry about me and focus on her cause she definitely gone think he cheating. Shit I would too, just wondering why my man is not with me on valentines day. Uh uh ion got time to be messing up other people relationships imma let them do that on their own.

I stepped out the shower, brushed my teeth, and put my contacts in after drying off. I walked into my room and put my scented lotion and deodorant on before throwing on my under garment, I then threw on my outfit for today.

I walked downstairs to see everybody sitting at the table eating without me...even Devin was there I kinda felt some type of way cause they know I love me some food. "So y'all was just gone eat without me huh? " I asked as I walked down the steps my mom looked at me and said "girl we all got things to do... We don't have time to be waiting for you"...well then. As soon as I sat down I felt a thick tension in the atmosphere. So I quickly ate my breakfast trynna hurry up and get out of this house I just couldn't take it anymore. I got up and walked out of my house with Devin hot on my trail.

"What's wrong stink?" he asked as soon as he closed the door. "So you telling me you ain't feel that?" I asked him with hella attitude "feel what that tension?..." He said acting dumb "You know you felt it!" I said rolling my eyes and walked away getting in my car as he followed suit.

He stayed quiet as we got in the car. The car was silent besides the radio playing drake Marvin's room... One of my all time favorites. We got to the school a couple minutes later and hopped out the car as soon as I met him in front oh my car he pulled me into a tight hug. I was confused as hell but I hugged back. "I love you ok ?... No matter what imma be here for you and don't ever forget that stink." He said clinging onto me. "I love you too Devin and I already know this... Why you acting like this?" I asked with more concern in my voice than intended. "I just want you to know" he answered after letting me go.

We walked in the school and like always his lil girlfriend was the first to greet us. It got annoying sometimes like to say she's obsessed would be an understatement . I think I would classify ol girl as a stalker like dead ass I will put her ass on that predator website. She hugged and kissed him and turned to me with the fakest smile. "Hey Mariiiiiii... How you been girl" she asked "Hi n you seen me yestersay...but I've been fine how about you." I said uninterested " I've been good what you doin later?" she questioned... and its officially time to get out of here I hugged Devin n told him I loved him and would see him later before walking away.

I got to my Advanced Calculus class I swear  i love the teacher Ms. Rein. I went to my normal seat in the back. My dad may have money but imma make my own and I gotta start by getting an education and that's exactly what a rich bitch tryn do. The class soon was filled and my home girl Monika came in. She sat next to me as usual and we just talked till the bell rung we were about 25 minutes into the class when this fauwn(fine) ass boy walked in lookin lost. "Ms. Rein?" He asked unsure she nodded assuring him he had the right class. "Class this is our new student Malcolm Gray.... You can have a seat right next to Amarhi in the back. Raise your hand Marhi" the teacher announced, I did as told and he walked back here and took a seat.

"Aye"....."Aye"....."AYE" I heard somebody yell I turned around and noticed that the new boy  was talking to me... This nigga fosho bout to try and spit mad game on a bitch bruh it aint even funny. "Yes Malcolm ?"I asked full of entertainment and a smile on my face... I wonder what the pick up line was about to be. "You gotta pencil shawty? " he questioned, nigga really?  I swear when he said that I was sick as shit, my face dropped but was soon after replaced with a smile. " yea hol up" I said as I went in my bag for a pencil. I gave it to him and he said thanks. I mean I always get my way he'll spit game sooner rather than later .

"Mon!" I whispered she looked at me so I continued " So tell me why I thought ol boy was bout to try and mac... This nigga gone ask for a pencil" she bust out laughing making everybody turn their attention to us. "Would you like to tell us what's funny Monika?" Ms. Rein asked after clearing her throat. "I swear to god if you say anything I will hurt you" I whispered to her. "It was nothing Ms. Rein Mari just was bout salty as shit" she said trying to contain herself... like for real? I honestly don't understand what is so funny about this.

At the end of the class Malcolm pulled me to the side. "Wassup?" I asked "where Ms. Conny Biology class?" He asked "come on me and Monika going there anyway" I said walkin up to Mon who was waiting. He followed us to the class and we all sat at a table together then my brother walked in. I damn near jumped out my seat to hug him cause I ain't get one this morning. We hugged and I looked over to see  Mon and Malcom whispering, then Mon started crackin up. "Kingston come'er" she called. I walked over too, I mean I am sitting there. He stood in front of the table "wassup wit chu girl? I keep telling you my name is KING... K.I.N.G" he told her with an attitude. "Whatever boy... ol boy got a question for you" she said nonchalantly but you could tell she was amused. Kingston nodded and Malcom spoke "that's ya girl?" he asked nodding to me. "What chu think?" is all Kingston said before walking away from him and to the chair next to me. Me and King was talking all class about random shit. One thing I can say is that we love each other and have a strong relationship. We were in class cracking up, then King peeked over my shoulder real quick and put his arm over my shoulder then started whispering in my ear about that time we was harassing people in the mall. I was dying until he told me to look to my left and dead ass this nigga Malcolm was staring at us. I waved, and he nodded in my direction. The class went by pretty quick.

After class we all walked to lunch and I met up with Devin n Lola I think that's her name.

"Hey D... Hey Lola" I said hugging D. "Its LaToya" she said rolling her eyes " oh my bad". We walked to the table n I sat by my brother like always. This time I was cuddled up on him cause he had his arm over my shoulder n wouldn't let me go. "Yo why you all cuddled up on ya brother like that... MARI YOU WITH THAT INCEST SHIT?... OH HELL NAH HOMIE WE CAN NO LONGER BE COOL?!?!" Devin yelled from across the table jumping up. Me n King was dead bruh he really the bid. "Chill bruh, this ain't even that. Ol boy over here asked if she was my girl and I said what it look like then Mari told me how she was bout salty asshit this morning when he only asked for a pencil" King retorted I swear I was so embarrassed I had to take a walk.

The rest of the day went by quick it consisted of me dodging everybody. When the last bell rung I was the first to leave. I hopped in the car and drove straight home I ain't wait for D or nothing, I really didn't wanna be bothered. I went to my room and was layin on my bed on the phone when the door bell rung. I walked down stairs taking my sweet ass time cause who ever the fuck it was... Was not important at least not to me. I got to the door and opened it ta see two cops standing at the door.
