CHAPTER SIX

⛔️⛔️Amarhi P.O.V.⛔️⛔️

Dad was holding me back so I couldn't go after King. All I could do was cry and I was tired of doing so. The two officers from earlier came back standing in front of me and dad. "Trevor Hamilton please stand you are under arrest for the homicides of Mark and James Sutters." The white cop spoke for the second time since being here today. I felt like I was getting light headed and dizzy and the last words I heard before it all went black was " You have the right to remain silent."

⛔️⛔️Trevor's P.O.V.⛔️⛔️

As the pigs read me my miranda rights I saw my baby girl fall to ground. I got out of their grip with one arm cuffed and ran to my daughter I knew they would add resisting arrest to the charges but in that moment that was the last thing I was concerned about. "Call a fucking ambulance, the fuck are y'all waiting for?" I screamed at the pigs as they stood there just watching me hold my limp daughter in my arms one radioed for a bus and the other came over to me ready to finish arresting me. "I'm not going nowhere till that ambulance get here and I know she on her way to the hospital." I said in a low but audible tone. The cop looked at his partner reluctantly but backed up as we waited for the ambulance. I wanted to cry but I wouldn't dare let these cops see me like this.

⛔️⛔️King P.O.V.⛔️⛔️

I sat in the back of the cop car wondering what was taking them so long to search the damn house I was getting impatient. I heard the siren of an ambulance but didn't pay it any attention until they pulled up to the house. I got nervous trying to figure what the fuck went down, I didn't hear no gun shots so what happened. I started kicking the window knowing it wouldn't work this wasn't my first time in a cop car but I needed to try. I watched the ambulance rush into the house with a stretcher and come back out seconds later with my little sister. What the fuck did they do to her was all that ran through my mind as a tear slid down my cheek. I quickly whipped it off on my shoulder and looked back to the door as they brought my dad out in cuffs. We made eye contact and I saw every ounce of sadness that he possessed. I put my head down feeling like I failed my sister at least she still had Dev and mom that's if they forgave each other. The car I was was in pulled off and the one dad was in pulled off after. As soon as we got processed they put me and my dad in they holding cell and we both asked for our phone call he called somebody who I assumed was Dev and I called mom we told them where Marhi was and they said they was on their way. I sat next to dad and neither of us said a word.

⛔️⛔️ Amarhi P.O.V.⛔️⛔️

I heard voices going back and forth before I opened my eyes. "Both of them weren't supposed to get arrested T." I heard a male voice say. "Keep your fucking voice down boy they weren't supposed to arrest King I guess they found some shit they wasn't posed to I ain't the fucking cops I can't control them" the female voice whisper yelled, I wanted to know who it was but I wanted hear what else they were going to say. "Listen T I gave them the tip on Trevor you was posed to be there to make sure that was all that happened but your dumb ass got caught." His voice got a little louder and I started to recognize it. "I just wanna be with you that's all this extra stuff is unnecessary Trevor don't want me no more, we can leave it alone now" after she said that I had put the pieces together. My mother was cheating on my father with my best friend. There were a bunch of questions that were unanswered if they sent a tip for Daddy why did they take King first... unless he snitched on King instead, but why would he do that ? I needed answers but I was in no position to get any. I realized I was in so much of a daze I didn't hear the rest of their conversation.

I opened my eyes and cleared my throat to get their attention. Devin came over to me and Tashanda went to go the the nurse. I wanted to curse him out and ask him a bunch of questions at the same time, but I couldn't be stupid especially cause both my brother and father were in jail. I gave him a weak smile and he asked me if I was okay. I nodded a little then fixed my attention to the door that was opening. The doctor came in followed by my mother and I shot her a look. She gave the look back and took a seat. "Hi Ms.Hamilton I'm Dr.Holt and I'm gonna take your vitals and blood work and you should be good to go by tomorrow afternoon." The doctor explained and asked Devin and Tashanda to step out. She started taking my blood pressure. "Um can you make sure those two are not allowed in my room for the time that I'm here?" I asked the doctor and she nodded focusing back on drawing blood. After she was done Tashanda came in the room to get her purse and mumbled that I was an ungrateful ass little girl. I rolled my eyes as she stormed out.
