Still in Seoul....

"Oii hyung, wasn't expecting you here" Hoseok was shocked to see Yoongi.

"I had been looking for you" Yoongi said raising his diary in front of Hoseok, "I modified the old trick, I thought you'd want to try it out."

Yoongi had been trying to find Hoseok for almost half an hour, he had looked for him all over the institute barring one room. In all honesty, he hated the place, but for Hoseok, it was the only place that mattered the most- the training room.

No wonder Hoseok was shocked to see Yoongi down there, he almost never set foot in the place unless it was absolutely necessary.. Thankfully that necessity hadn't arisen yet. Yoongi hated training, he wanted to read books all day if he could, spend his entire life in the Scholomance, learn more about the Shadowhunterverse, learn all the secrets the Clave keeps hidden from them- in short, he wanted to do something better with his time than train to fight weird creatures. He hated bloodshed.

The Scholomance is a  school where the most elite of Shadowhunters are trained to deal with demons and downworlders. The Scholomance trains the most elite Shadowhunters, particularly those that graduated with the highest honors from the . Before admittance, one had to pass a series of harsh tests. Students who graduate from the school become Centurians, and the very best are considered part of the First Company, or Primi Ordines.

He wasn't even sure how he got selected in the Scholomance.. the training there is extra hard.. But Yoongi always ended up managing somehow. After coming back from the academy, he realized he wanted to study further.. mostly because he disliked the idea of shadow hunting in general. He thought the Scholomance would protect him for as long was necessary..

But he was wrong.. now he was going undercover.. He was out almost all the time, carrying out missions that didn't fall under the law, investigating cases, finding out secrets he couldn't share and whatnot. He was fighting though- almost regularly. But he didn't tell anybody about it. He couldn't.

It was because of the Scholomance he lost his chance to become Parabatai with his best friend Hoseok... He was so busy with school that he didn't even realize when his age to become Parabatai had passed. Hoseok had waited for him.. waited for so long.. But he was thankful he never took it to his heart... always so understanding, his best friend, his sunshine, his Hobi.

Hoseok giggled, "of course, I'd love that."

Hoseok loved how Yoongi would often come up to him with new moves to try. Even though his hyung hated fighting he liked to invest his time in coming up with tricks and strategies that worked too well for someone who has almost never set foot in battle.

On the contrary, Hoseok lived for the thrill of a battle. He thought that life without combat is futile.. at least for a Shadowhunter.. Not that he told Yoongi this, Yoongi was still doing important Shadowhunter business- whatever the Scholomance made him do- and his action plans were always fool proof, but still, Hoseok always tried to convince him to fight.

He always wanted to be Yoongi's Parabatai.. he waited for so long and he genuinely hated the Scholomance for it but he also knew how it had always been Yoongi's dream to go to the the place.

What Yoongi did at the Scholomance was confidential; everything about the place- from what they learned to what missions they carried out- everything was a secret. Sometimes Hoseok felt left out, he felt bad that there would always be a part of Yoongi's life he would never know about- considering the fact that they grew up together since diaper days- some part of his life would always remain hidden from him.

Hoseok often spent his time in the training room, or on the beach.. He loved running, it gave him life, he liked running on the beach, as the sun set.. It's always a beautiful sight.

He was a master with all weapons. He never liked bragging but this was something he took immense pride in. He was the best fighter in the institute- one could say he was the best in South Korea. He could use any and every weapon with immense dexterity; be it a sword, a crossbow, all types of knives, daggers, whips, throwing stars, spears, axes, balisongs- whatever he could find. Thankfully he had a storehouse of weapons within close reach.

In fact, when Yoongi came in, Hoseok had been practicing his long distance throw on the dummies.

"So you remember how I told you about that back-flip and then attack" Yoongi asked.

Hoseok nodded, "I practiced that move- I can't wait to try it out" he clapped his hands together, "but Jiminie and Taehyungie went after the Dahak today."

"There was a Dahak?" Yoongi asked.

"I don't think there was just one- but Jimin said he had it under control. I think he was just trying to stop me from going." Hoseok said.

"Are they back?" Yoongi asked.

"No not yet, they'll be back soon- they're good fighters" Hoseok said, seeming proud. He liked both the boys- mostly because they never skipped training. They weren't exactly fans of training but they understood the importance of it. And they actually were good fighters- Jimin had great reflexes and Taehyung was ambidextrous- something very useful in battle, it always proved his competence as a fighter.

Yoongi nodded, "anyway, about the back-flip-"

He went on telling Hoseok how he needs to change the style of the flip to cover more area during the kick. He taught him the correct way and Hoseok made slight changes in the posture and both of them together mastered the perfect move.

"I'm totally teaching the boys this tomorrow" Hoseok said.

"I haven't seen Jungkookie all day today" Yoongi said, "where is he? He didn't even come for practice did he?"

"Did you forget hyung? It's his parents' death anniversary today" Hoseok said, "he never shows us his face this day."

Hoseok always felt bad for the young boy- he had had it the hardest.

"Oh. Yeah- I'll make him his favorite food and leave it outside his room." Yoongi said.

"I'm sure Seokjin hyung is already on it" Hoseok said and smiled.

Yoongi smiled too, "I'm glad Jungkook has Jin."

"Me too" Hoseok said.

"I'm starving though- should I make you something?" Yoongi asked.

"Ah yes please"
