Seoul..Once Jungkook was sure that Jin would've left, he sneaked out of his room.. He didn't want to admit it but he was starving.
"Hah! Got you" Jin snickered, "okay I'll leave now. I just wanted to make sure you take the food."
Jungkook was so happy he had all six of them.. They had all practically raised them, his Jin hyung literally taking up the role of his mother. He was always thankful to each one of them, thankful for their love, thankful for respecting his personal space, thankful for being there for him.
Jin was about to leave when Jungkook stopped him, "hyungie". Jin turned and smiled at him.
"Thank you" Jungkook said raising the tray full of food, "and also for the banana milk you left for me in the morning."
"Who me?" Jin looked confused, "I didn't leave that."
"Well, then who did?" Jungkook asked.
"No idea. Anyway Jungkook-ah, enjoy the food. Come out whenever you feel better. Okay?"
He nodded, scrunched his nose and went back inside his room.
Jin was almost sure of the fact that Jimin left the banana milk outside Jungkook's room. These two boys were always trying to act so cold that they kept forgetting that they had always been the closest of friends.. but now they were always trying to show that they're better than the other.
"Namjoon-ah" Jin called out when he saw Namjoon going to the institute's office.
"Hyung" he smiled and nodded.
"Have you seen Taehyung and Jimin?" He asked.
Namjoon shook his head, "I got to know that they went demon hunting. I'm not sure when they'll be back though."
Kim Namjoon was the head of the Seoul Institute. The position was passed on to him from his parents- who now live in Alicante because they're a part of the Clave. It wasn't necessary for the members of the Clave to live in Alicante but the Kim family saw it fit to give the entire responsibility to Namjoon.. He was a person of great passion, determination and ambition. He wanted to make Inquisitor some day.. And Jin was certain he could do it.
Namjoon also ran a weapons shop close to the institute. It was called Cypher and helped in providing extra income to the institute. Jin, Yoongi and Hoseok helped in running it too.
Namjoon had just returned back to the institute after closing Cypher for the day. The sales had been rather extra that day. For some reason an entire pack of werewolves needed weapons..
Namjoon loved the thrill that came with responsibility. The fact that people trusted him enough to let him be in a position of power was something he really enjoyed. Even though he was just responsible for running the institute, he had unknowingly taken the role of parenting of literally every inhabitant of the institute and he loved every bit of it. It's not like they had very wide age gaps, all seven of them were practically the same age but for some reason he liked to take care of them. They weren't related by blood, but the bond they shared was greater than that. He never saw any flaw in his little family, it was perfect as it is. Nothing could ever loosen their ties.
He was sitting in the Institute's office answering the letter from the head of the leading Vampire clan in Seoul when he heard great ruckus downstairs.
He rushed down to see Taehyung leaning on Jimin, his eyes shut and Yoongi, Hoseok and Jin crowded around them, asking Jimin what's wrong.
"What happened Jiminah?" Hoseok asked, "did the Dahak attack him?"
"Why is he limp?" Jin asked, "oh Raziel- what is that big gash on his arm?"
"Would you answer anyone goddamnit?" Yoongi asked.
"Jimin- what's going on?" Namjoon asked, "I'll just call Ragnor"
"Come on tell us" Jin said.
Even Jungkook came downstairs- something nobody expected.
"What-what happened to hyung?" He asked, "you guys went demon hunting didn't you? Well-did- did something happen?" He looked so pale.
Just then Taehyung burst out laughing, "I'm sorry Jimin, I can't keep doing it anymore."
"Oh come on Taehyung" Jimin started grinning, "it was fun."
"What the fuck you guys" Jungkook said, "what part of this is funny?"
"Everything" Jimin said nonchalantly.
"Please develop a sense of humour- this isn't funny" Jin said.
"I almost got a fucking heart attack" Hoseok said.
"Yes but that cut looks very deep and very real- what is that?" Yoongi asked.
"Ah yes, Namjoonie hyung, about that- Do call Ragnor" Jimin said, scowling, "the Dahak did attack him- really bad."
Jin stepped closer to Taehyung and examined the wound, "that's not an ordinary cut Jiminah- he could've died"
"Well I did" Taehyung said, "almost- but Jiminie drew an Iratze on me." He giggled.
Iratze: the healing rune
"An Iratze couldn't have possibly helped in this." Yoongi said, "iratzes don't work on demonic injuries."
"Doesn't matter hyung" Jungkook said, "what matters is that hyung is alright."
Everyone looked at Jungkook, the colour was finally returning to his cheeks.
Jin nodded, "yes, that's right. Taehyung you look weak. I'll make you something."
"But how- how can the Iratze work?" Yoongi said.
"I'll just contact Ragnor- he will need extra treatment" Namjoon said, "maybe we can ask him why the Iratze worked?"
Namjoon contacted the High Warlock of Seoul- Ragnor Fell as soon as he could. He appeared almost immediately.
