You run to the car, hearing sirens behind you. You start to search for a key and quickly find one
"Ok, hopefully it still runs." You say
You get in and turn on the car, hearing the car's engine
"Time to get outta here."
You step on the gas just in time, any slower and you might've got pitted by the police. It's not like the tires on the car were getting checked on.
5 minutes of cop crashing later
You pull into the garage and get out the of the car, plopping down on the couch after. You went to a gas station to fix and clean the car before you came here so the car is only wet from the Rain
You see Ana walking towards you, phone in hand.
"Where is your car?" Ana asks
"It uh, blew up." You say looking down
"Hey it's okay, happens to the best of us." Ana says
"You lost a car before?" You asked
"Well, N-no." Ana replies
There was a second of silence
" I get the feeling you were going to show me something on your phone." You say pointing towards it
"Right, it's only been up 5 minutes and we've already got hundreds of views." Ana says full of excitement
Ana starts walking and you do a little jog to catch up
"Oh, we?" Lucas asks
"Look who I met?" Ana says pointing at you
"Oh hey, my sister's giving you the grand tour, huh?" Lucas asks
"Something like that." you reply
"You know, just so you know, if 'racing' means ending up in the back of a cop car, she's the perfect guide" Lucas says looking at Ana near the end of his sentence
"Ha! Remind me again which one of us has actually been locked up?" Ana says looking up from her phone
"Hey, I learned my lesson." Lucas says, putting his hands up
"Only thing you learnt is how to be boring." Ana says
"Yeah, anyone else loses their crew, it'd be a sign to give up. Or go back to college." Lucas says, ignoring what Ana just said
"Well not me. and as for my crew, they weren't up for it
Ana holds up her phone to Lucas
...maybe I've found someone who is." Ana exclaimed
"Ah...nah nah, that's what you think. You know, stories I been hearing lately, cops ain't playing no more." Lucas says dismissive
"Mira la calle esta caliente." Lucas says
A/N: According to Google translate that means 'Look at the street is hot'
"I know all about the cops. Papi gave me the same damn talk." Ana says
"Then act like it mija!" Lucas says
"What, like you did?" Ana snarls
"Calmate, Calmate." Lucas says calmly

Ana smiles and turns to you
"Where you staying?" Ana asks you
