Era: WIP
Fair enough
AU: No, but this does take place on an animus-made continent named Panthia where all tribes live in harmony
Panthia? Alright.
Name: Bunting, but goes by and ONLY by Blueflame
Oooo, okay, both names are intriguing. Bunting — what, exactly, does that mean? I looked up the definition but there are a lot of different meanings, and I'm not sure which one applies here.
Aside from that, I'm also intrigued by Blueflame. Why did he choose this name?
Age: About 17 years or so
"Or so"? Why "or so"? Seems a little unnecessarily vague. Is there a reason his exact age is unknown?
Tribe: A hybrid; SkyWing IceWing
Okay, I don't think I've seen this hybrid before, so that's interesting.
Gender: Male
Okay.
Pronouns: He/Him
Nice.
Sexual orientation: Bisexual
Nice!
Romantic orientation: Hetero, or straight
Valid.
Rank/Occupation: Hitman for hire
Not a bad rank. A little overused, since I've seen it a LOT before, but I'm sure you already knew that.
Abilities: Though born with no fire, Blueflame's mother enchanted him to breath scorching blue fire, earning his alias
Ah, that would explain the name.
Wait a minute — isn't he an IceWing/SkyWing hybrid? SkyWings have no animi and the IceWings haven't had any since Darkstalker. I'll let it slide since the Era is WIP and therefore Blueflame could very well be in pre-Darkstalker times, but in case that wasn't your original plan, look out for that.
Personality: As a dragonet, Blueflame was a boisterous and energetic dragonet with an ego as big as his head. This ego-inflation was caused by his mother, who kept telling her son that he was the best and no one would ever beat him. Little did Blueflame know is that his mother was simply treating him as an object with no other purpose but to boost her reputation. Once Blueflame was old enough to understand this, he became cold and bitter towards everyone around him, his self esteem plummeting. It was a hard blow to take; learning that you were nearly an object to inflate one's image. After his mother's... accident, Blueflame became more confident in himself. As he also believed that his problems had... *burned* away, Blueflame was far more aloof. As Blueflame killed more and more individuals as a hit-man, he as forced to become stoic though showing some sympathy for the families of deceased targets.
OKAY. Here are some things I noticed right away.
1: I absolutely love how, realistically so, Blueflame's personality changes with key events that have happened in the backstory. I LOVE that, and I love how realistic it is. Of course Blueflame would have trouble time accepting his mother's behavior, once he recognizes it for what it actually is! Of course he would be bitter after all that; and you've also added the changes in his personality that happened when he became a hitman, etc.
2: On the downside, the personality outside of key changes in it is lacking. Is he still bitter and cold towards others? What's he like in conversation? What's he like when he warms up to dragons? Is he someone easy to get along with or really hard to? I need these kinds of questions answered; I need more broad trait-listing. You've done an excellent job telling me the changes, but now I need to know the final result of all those changes.
