Me and Tenya talked for a while, but then I got nervous and told Iida.

"I don't think I can do this" I was doubtful

"Tenya can you take ove-"

"No, you have to do this"

"WHA--why nooot" Dramatically I cried while grabbing his shirt

"You have to be able to be in front of people if want to be a hero"

"I-I'll..." Trying to find excuses

"I'll become an underground hero!"

"I'll be right next you (Y/N), promise"

I was staring up at Tenya, in his eyes I could see he meant every single word. At that moment I reminded myself why I joined in the first place. I sighed but was compliant

"Alright...but you promise you'll be there right by my side"

"Promise, Iida's name"

I released my grip from his shirt.

We continued talking while other members started to come in. Soon, the room was packed with student presidents from all different courses. I was working on nerves as I said

"Hello" it was the only word I muster up in Japanese. Just when I was gonna make a fool of myself Iida held my hand, he was slick with it so it didn't draw any attention. I got myself together and continued with my speech

"My name is (L/N) and I am the new class president for class 1B. I heard nothing but good things about our last events so let's do just as good, yes? Our next even is"

As I wrote on the board

"A winter dance"

The meeting went smoothly. At the end of the meeting each of the council members were assigned to ask their class what they would like to see at the dance. Everyone left as I collected my notes, while collecting them Iida and Yaoyorozu came up to me saying I did great. I felt proud, like I actually accomplished something and worked hard for it.

Me, Yaoyorozu and Tenya walked back to the dorms.

All I could think about was Tenya holding my hand, he held it for so long. I could still feel his worm touch and his rigid hand as he held mines. But that leads me to my other question, is Tenya even single. I mean after what happened with his engines and the way he talks to Uraraka so easily

"I'm so confused"

Falling into the couch

I didn't realize I wasn't alone, Hagakure was there

"What are you confused about, maybe I can help"

I jumped a little not seeing her

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you. It's just your class, is anybody dating each other?"

"Hmmmm, not that I know of. Since i'm invisible I usually know the tea as well" I obviously couldn't see her facial expression but by the way she said it seemed she was smiling.

"So what about crushes" I asked as a follow-up question

"Well, don't tell anyone" as she whispered the following

"Ochako has a big will they won't they with Midoria"

I sighed from the relief that Uraraka wasn't with Tenya, I knew he wasn't close enough to be with anybody else so I guess he was single.

"So..." Hagakure said "Who do you like"

I tried to play it off so I said

"Don't worry about it, I'll save myself the embarrassment and keep my mouth shut"

"Aww but that's no fun"

This is when Mina hopped on the couch

"What no fun?"

"(L/N) won't tell me her crush" she whined

"Woah, that was quick"

"Well it doesn't matter now" I got up after I said that

Them knowing that I had a crush was bad enough.

Another thing that I had to do in UA was train under a mentor. I decided to choose Mirko as my mentor because her fighting style is based off of strength and her quirk is defensive, my quirk is also defensive meaning that I have to practice my hand-to-hand combat as well.
