💙Chapter 1💙

I was a student at a normal american high school trying to become a pro hero, and that's when I saw an ad on YouTube of all places.

The ad started off with All Might on the screen, I remember that he was a popular figure in the US but after he moved to Japan nobody really remembered him, no kids anyway. He went from his big form to his small form, this was a shock to me because I didn't know about one for all or any of that. The last time I even HEARD of All Might was back when I was a kid.

He shrutted on the stage while into his big form while saying with confidence  "I am here!" he immediately poofed back into his small form coughing up blood continuing his monologue "or at least I was here, I have given up my quirk for humanity and now it's time for a new line of heroes" his voice went from being somber to the normal happy-go-lucky almost salesman like voice that I'm used to "and UA is offering up a program for one special student to move into class 1A in Japan, this includes dorms, outfits and an opportunity to get your Japanese hero license"

Listening to the ad it seemed like a dream come true, it had to be too good to be true. I ignored it, even so, I still wrote down the information just in case. I put the open book on my desk and took a nap.

I woke up to my energetic dad screaming at me, yelling "HOW CAN YOU BE SLEEPING AT A TIME LIKE THIS--YOU SHOULD BE FILLING OUT YOUR APPLICATION,,YOU ONLY HAVE A DAY LEFT!!"

I was confused and upset so I asked what he was talking about and he responded

"The information on your book, you have to take it that opportunity"

"Huh" I said "Oh! Don't worry about it, I'm not doing it--"

"WHY NOT!"

"It seemed like a deep fake anyway, you know with more diverse quirks it's easier you know" I shrugged off into my blanket "You wouldn't believe it, there was a small version of all might--I mean come on nobody in the west have even heard of him in like 10 years"

"I knew you would say that...sooo I filled the application while you were asleep

"WHAT!" I yelled with so much anger there was a slight voice crack "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WITHOUT ASKING ME"

"Why wouldn't you take the opportunity!?" he snapped back

"Fine, but just to get outta here" I said with a smirk

He twisted my ear out of bed "c'mon your test is on wednesday so we need to trai--"

"I don't have to train I'll get in just fine, we both know I'm better then the losers in the US"

My dad let out a deep sigh then left my room, at the doorway he said "At least try, ok?"

I moaned as I went back to sleep "I don't need too"

In Japan there's a bunch of flashy quirks but in the US we usually have lame mutant quirks. It's actually very rare to have a non-mutant quirk in the US. That's makes being a pro hero even more rare. People stray away from it because they don't want to get hurt. The ones who do try are usually weak.
