💙Chapter 5💙

I had no time to focus on what just happened because today is going to be my first student council meeting as well as the English exam me and Tenya was preparing for. I wasn't scared of the exam of course but Tenya left his things on the kotatsu and I have no idea how I'm going to bring them back after what just happened. I figured that I would apologize at lunch.

I got ready for the day and put the stuff that Tenya left on the table in my book bag.

Present Mic decided that since me and Pony already knew fluent English we would grade the written test and he would grade the speaking and listening portion so that was an easy A for us.

The problem occured when I finished grading my test early. Once I handed my graded test's, Mr. Mic asked if I could give Mr. Aizawa some papers, I knew I couldn't deny and Pony wasn't done hers so she couldn't either, I had to go Mr. Aizawa class, I had to face Iida.

I agreed to go to Mr. Aizawa's class and give him the papers, I also got the things Tenya left.

I hesitantly opened the door, the class seemed normal. They finished their test so I guessed they had free time, it looked like the dorms. After talking to Mr. Aizawa I saw Tenya to Uraraka they seemed...close.

"I should just give him his things and apologize" I thought

Tenya looked at me and then excused himself from the conversation. I walked up to him.

"Hey Iida can we talk outside"

The whole class grew silent like we were giving some type of heartfelt performance

He nodded and said sure

I bowwed and apologized respectfully
"I'm greatly sorry, I didn't li-"

I suddenly got stopped by Tenya tapping my shoulder and making a shhh motion, he got a pencil and wrote down that Jirou and the rest of the class is probably listening. After he wrote that, Tenya wrote he forgave me.

I was just happy that he forgave me, I kept my composure though

"I guess I'll see you later today at the meeting"

He nodded.

When leaving I saw Iida and Uraraka taking again and I think--believe I got jealous. If they were dating then his response would make sense, Iida would never be a cheater and I was pushy. It just made me feel worse.

I was eating lunch with Monoma, Kendo and Pony when Jirou and Mina asked if they could barrow me for a second. I said fine and they lead me to an entourage of class 1a girls. Mina immediately interrogated me by asking

"Ok, why were you apologizing to Iida"

Of course I wasn't gonna tell them so I just responded with

"It was personal, don't worry about it"

"You two just seemed really awkward in the class, we really wouldn't want this to hinder your experience at the dorms or meetings" Momo said

"Don't worry it won't, if you'll excu--"

"Did you confess to him and that's why you apologized, ribbit"

"What no!--gosh if you really wanna know ask him. But it's not my right to"
I was fed up with the questions, and it showed.

"We tried asking him but he said the same thing, to ask you because it wasn't his right to"

I started blushing--I mean I couldn't do that to Iida. So I had to direct the attention from him and talk about something embarrassing...talk about Mr. Stuff

"W-well...um--I have a...a uhh..."

I was at the brink of tears, I know it might seems stupid but I was bullied a lot in middle school for it.

This is where an all too familiar feeling popped up on my shoulder. It was Iida stepping up for me.

"Guys, you shouldn't be pressuring her just because you were inquisitive. She's a new student and this is how you welcome her"

This is where he turned to me and bowed

"I'm sorry (Y/N) for the way we've treated you in the manner"

"I-It's ok, let's just finish lunch"

Tenya seemed disappointed that I was sad so I tried to cheer up.

"Hey what's with the gloomy faces, it was a misunderstanding--I get it, we've all been nosey before. I know I have right Iida *chuckle* anyways let's just say it's in the past now ok, heck I don't even know what I'm talking about it's already been so long. I'll catch you guys later." You can tell I was...off.

But I went back to my group. I wouldn't see Momo and Tenya till the student council meeting, when the time came I was dreading walking through the door.

I stood in front of the door, you could see my gloom from a mile away. I took a deep sigh and opened the door, of course the only person there was Iida.

Again, I tried to act like everything was normal "Your the early bird" I said with a smile.

"I try to be as early and punctual as possible"

"I guess we knows who getting the worm"

"I don't know what you mean?"

I realized that figure of speech might be different in Japan then the west.

"Just a figure of speech, you don't have to worry about it" I pinched his cheeks as I continued

"So, how's Mr. Stuff"

"He's perfectly fine" he patted my head and said

"You don't have to worry about him all the time"

"Sorry, I feel like a worried mother hehe"

Awkward silence, I haven't felt this way since the--

"This reminds me when we just met"

Tenya said before I could finish my thought. I happily gasped both at the fact that we thought the same thing and at the fact that now I can finally get out of that awkward silence we were in.

I grabbed his hand and said

"I was thinking the same thing"

We were finally able to make a conversation!
