💙Chapter 8💙

Once we were outside we sat at a nearby seat and discussed our options

I gave them the letter and they read it

"Aww" said Pony

"Eww" said Monoma

"Well, I think this is adorable" Pony shushed Monoma

"Now all we have to know is who it belongs to" I said

"It mentions the dorms which mean it's someone from class 1A" Pony mentioned

When Monoma heard this he changed. The look of disgust on his face was unimaginable. He got up in anger and silence. I got scared, he expressed his anger toward 1A before and he was always protective over me like a big brother but I didn't think he would get this mad.

"Where are you going?" I said in concern following shortly afterwards

"My sister isn't gonna date one of those scoundrels from 1A--I refuse"

He stopped and thought about what he just said. "My sister" We've acted like siblings ever since we met but he's never said it outright. Hearing it for the first time made me blush.

I couldn't face him, I wouldn't face him so I looked down and said

"You don't have the right to dictate who I get to date. Plus, we don't even know who it is"

I looked up at him and said

"You can leave if you want to, me and Pony can find out on our own."

He hugged me

"I'm not doing that to my sister, I'm gonna be here wether you like it or not"

I started tearing up but he quickly wiped the tears from my face.

After talking about it we chalked it up to Tokoyami, Shoji or Iida.

"So how do we find out, I can't just ask them" I asked

"I can't even think anymore" Pony whined

"I'll pay some ramen, there's one 10 minutes away so you'll be back by curfew (Y/N)" Monoma proposed

"Please I need food now!" I practically begged

When I came back all I could think of was the letter. Someone finally noticed and Mina asked

"Why do you look so occupied, did something happen"

I whispered in her ear about the letter but told her not to tell any of the boys. She audibly gasped and told all the girls to huddle up as she told them the info.

"Who!?" Ochako asked

"That's the thing I don't know" I explained

After, I showed them the list of who it could be, making sure not to say their names.

"I don't really have time to think about it anyway"

"Yes! We must focus on the winter dance as class presidents not to mention our school work" Yaoyorozu exclaimed

I agreed

"So any ideas? The due date is coming up!"

"Hmmm

My class has already submitted their ideas but when thinking about it again they're was one idea that I could put down...but I don't think you guys would like it" I stated

"No idea is a bad one!"

"Well...they wanted a duet between you and Jirou--I tried to go against it because you aren't from my class and all but they were very persistent about it" I looked down embarrassed from my class

"Oh! Well I'm ok with it if Jirou is"

Jirou was blushing but she agreed

"You should join too" added Iida

"What! Ohnononoimreallybad"
I murmured

"I've heard you sing before and I think it sounds beautiful"

I blushed and said thanks

Mina whispered to me "I think we know who wrote the letter~"

"What!" I yelled infront of Iida

"What?" Iida said puzzled

"Uh, don't worry about it--excuse me I just have to talk to Mina for a sec"

I pulled Mina away and then asked her

"What do you mean Iida"

"Have you seen him, he doesn't really hide it."

I really thought about it but I just couldn't, him actually liking me back

"Well, the real question is do you like him back"

I looked at her, do I wanna tell her

"(Y/N), is Iida your crush"

Thinking about everything I broke down

"Mina" I started with tears in my eyes "I'm scared, what if he doesn't like me back"

"Then that's his lost girl"

I nodded then gave her a hug, in all the tears I didn't even notice Hagakure and it seemed like Mina didn't either

"So how will you confess to him!"

"Oh, Toru!" Mina said

"I don't know" I told her

"Oh my gosh, do it at the dance!" Mina said

"Yeah! You can do it at the trio--"

"No way!" I cut off Toru

"I'm sorry but...I can't do it infront of all those people--that would be putting him in the spotlight. I don't know how yet but I'll think about it."

And I did, all night.

The sleepless night got over me and it showed. Tired of not sleeping I asked Iida. Of course I didn't ask him in person but over text. When I hit the send button I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, after I can finally sleep.
