I stood outside to see Iida.
He was in all blue from his hair to his suit. He was talking to his friends so I just waited from afar for a while.
When he noticed me he excused himself and came to hug me. He gave me the biggest bear hug, only when he let go he complimented me saying
"God, you look so good"
I blushed, speechless. I was speechless both because of the compliment and the language. He realized he might've gotten ahead of himself and quickly apologized, I reassured him that everything was okay and asked him if he was ready to go inside.
He said yes and we both went inside.
The energy was live as everyone was dancing happily. When I looked over it seemed Tenya was nervous so I asked
"Are you ok Tenya?"
"Yeah, just a little nervous I guess"
I held his hand to calm him and asked
"What are you nervous about?"
"Well I can't really dance and I don't wanna--"
"Hey!" Cutting him off
This is when I stared into his eyes holding both of his hands. His deep blue eyes were like tonight's sky but were pulsing with fear. His hands were strong most of the time but right now they were...gentle.
"No expectations, ok? I don't care what you look like when you dance"
He grew a smile and twirled me from the position we were in. I laughed and we started dancing for a while.
After a while Present Mic, the dj for the dance, started his announcements
"YO, YO, YO! WELCOME LADYS AND GENTLEMEN, First years to third! Welcome everybody to the annual winter dance."
He talked about all of the events and performances that would happen that night.
I realized that I needed to get ready for my performance because I'm almost up, so I excused myself after the announcements telling Iida
