Chapter One

Finally, a new year at school. Hopefully I don't get as bullied as I did last year, I'm Demetri's sister and when he's bullied so am I. As I made my way to the lunch room for lunch I got stopped on the way there by Yasmine and her little group. "what do you want" I asked not caring if it came off rude or not. "now is that anyway to talk to me" she says in a sarcastic tone. "just leave me alone please" I said not wanting anything to happen. As I tried to walk by she stopped me, grabbed my backpack and threw it into the trashcan. I grabbed it out and ran the rest of the way to the lunch room.

When I got there I immediately found Demetri and Eli. I've always found Eli really cute but he doesn't really talk to me, mostly Demetri. As I sit down next to Demetri he said "ew what's that disgusting smell" while plugging his nose. "Yasmine just had to throw my backpack into the trash" I said in a mad tone. "sorry for you but get that thing away from me" he said not really caring that my back pack just got thrown into the trash. "fine" I said and put it on the other side of the table on the ground.

We started eating lunch when I heard "is it cool is if I sit here?" I looked up from my food and saw a guy that I haven't seen, he's probably new. As I was about to say sure Demetri had to interrupt me saying something stupid "sorry the tables really blowing up right now, I can put you on the wait list but it's probably next semester at the earliest." "okay" the guy said as he started walking away I said "he's kidding you can sit here." I said rolling my eyes at Demetri.

"I'm Miguel." he said "Demetri, this is Eli he's a man of few words." Demetri said as Eli looked down. "And I'm Y/n."
after I said that Yasmine and Samantha walk by and Miguel stared at them as they walked by. Demetri said "dude don't torture yourself, those are the rich girls." "you ever talk to them?" oh great here we go. "oh yeah all the time hang out after school, make out, give each other hand jobs. Eli here's the homecoming king, gets laid more than anyone ain't that right Eli." after Demetri said that I went and smacked him on his back "ow!" "you deserved that."

After I said that I zoned out for a bit until I heard "oh my god you guys, you see that guy over there who looks like he went down on a lawnmower. he's literally wearing the ugliest sweater I've ever seen." from behind me and turned around to see Yasmine and Moon laughing at Eli. I got up from my seat and walked towards her "you know I could say a bunch of things about you that would make you run away bawling you're eyes out." I said getting angry and annoyed by her. "Y/n just come back to the table-" "fine Demetri but this isn't over yet Yasmine." I glared at her before making my way back to the table.

When lunch was done Miguel, Eli, Demetri, and me had to go a class. after class Miguel and Demetri had to go to class together and it's was just me and Eli since we both had a free period. "hey you didn't have to do that for me, back there at lunch ." I heard him say "no I had to she was being a bitch and someone has to put her in her place sooner or later." I slightly laughed after saying that. I heard I slight laugh from Eli too.

Me and Eli talked for about 10 more minutes until we heard the bell ring signalling that it was time to go home.
"I had a great time talking Eli I'll see you tomorrow." "okay me too." he said quietly. i quickly kissed him lightly on the cheek. I don't know why I just did that. I'm so stupid. After I did that ran away in embarrassment to look for Demetri and after I found him we went home.
