~Mine~ (dream x George)

The question

The stream ended and they both sighed. "What the hell was that." George seemed shaken up. Dream laughed, "I know the jokes are kinda weird when they're true."
George shot a look at Dream. "W-what?" He started...

"We can continue being awkward and ignore that we're fucking but.." George rolled his eyes and scoffed back. George got up from his chair and walked away with a noticeable stomp in his stride. "What's wrong?" Dream followed him into the kitchen. "Nothing I'm fine." Dream caught up and took his wrist. "Baby you said that right before the balcony.." George looked down. "Look, Dream... clay." George had never called him that before, it was new and he liked it. "I really like you but I'm not sure if I want to the whole world to know just yet." George tried to sound calm but his voice had a noticeable annoyance to it. "That's ok but they're gonna find out someday right?" Dream said fishing for an idea of what their relationship was. "Yeah.. well maybe." George said, he seemed unsure and Dream didn't like that. "Maybe?" Before George seemed so sure he wanted a serious relationship but this insecurity scared Dream more than he'd care to have admitted.

George pulled his hands out of Dreams grip an started rubbing his wrists. "Oh I'm sorry was I-?" Dream realized how hard his grip was on George and how he must have hurt him. He really liked George and the last thing he wanted was for him to get hurt of for him to be the cause of it.

Dream took George's wrists again and lightly kissed them. "I'm sorry.." he was on the verge of tears. "I just want you to be happy, if that means we don't end up a real couple I-" George stopped him with a finger to his lips. "Dream." "George." They were staring each other right in they eyes. They both thought it could be their last moment together and they wanted to remember every second. Dream finally took in a sharp breath, "Will you be my boyfriend?".
