11 | good terms...or not

Chaeyoung watches as for the first time, there isn't a staring competition between Jeongyeon and Nayeon.

It seems like everyone else has noticed this too.

It's the second study session, this time for Maths, and the two aren't racing each other. Rather, they're helping the younger kids to figure out the worksheets and tutoring them.

It's much better this time, as Sana and Momo actually finish more than one worksheet, and Chaeyoung now understands surds more that she would in class.

Dahyun buzzes through the worksheets, and Tzuyu works at her own pace—but it's still effective, and she gets through her work.

Mina, on the other hand, is on her phone. She's only actually at the study session for the snacks to be perfectly clear. 

Jeongyeon stops helping Tzuyu and looks over at Mina's direction.

"Mina," Jeongyeon stands up. "Can I talk to you for a sec?"

Mina rolls her eyes and goes out of the living room with Jeongyeon, just to talk a bit for a reason no one else knows about.

Sana's suspicious—very suspicious. "I don't think they're best friends. Or friends at all."

Nayeon nods her head. "When I asked her about Jeongyeon, she said she didn't care. It's either that they're low maintenance friends, or that they're enemies."

"Why would you ask her about Jeongyeon?" Chaeyoung butts in, and Dahyun seems to wonder the same thing too. "She asked us about you, you know?"

Nayeon keeps silent from her side of the table and keeps her head low. (She's blushing real hard under her tough girl disguise)

"What if they're dating?" Tzuyu stares beyond the glass door. "They're both rich, right? At least, I know Mina is."

"Dating?" Momo sit up, taking a quick glance at Nayeon. "What makes you say that?"

Tzuyu shrugs her shoulders and rubs out an answer. "Isn't it kind of the thing that people who are trying to keep their relationship under cover do? They pretend not to care for the other person, but tend to take them out to talk about issues and stuff." The whole room seems to mutually agree. "I mean, take a look at Sana and Dahyun unnie!"

"Tzuyu!" Dahyun squeals. "I thought you'd keep it a secret!"

Chaeyoung raises her eyebrows. "A secret? I've known since they started dating, you guys are horrible at keeping your relationship under wraps."

Momo and Nayeon nod along.

Sana smiles and looks at her girlfriend. "I told you they'd find out eventually."

Dahyun lays on the ground and doesn't speak for the next two hours.

"So what am I doing here, then?" Mina asks her as they enter the kitchen. "What's so secret that you had to drag me out here?"

"You already know who Han Yejun is, don't you?"

"That name doesn't ring a bell. Mind telling me?"

Jeongyeon leans in to whisper. "It's not his real name. It's a cover up."

Mina pulls back with an uninterested look on her face. "Well would you mind telling me who it really is then?"

"I can't believe you don't know!" Jeongyeon throws her hands in the air. "His real name is Yoon Jeonghan! Oh my god. Did you not see all the signs?"

"You mean...your half-brother Yoon Jeonghan?"

"Yes, my half-brother." Jeongyeon sighs. "He left the family and came to Hanlim to study. From what I know, he couldn't get away from his old life and went back for more."
