Sana passes by the library, where she sees Mina and Jeongyeon talking amongst themselves with a stack of files.

She creeps inside and tucks herself behind the bookshelf.

"Jeonghan was crazy enough, now we have to deal with him and his new identity?" Jeongyeon scowls. "What type of stupid name is Han Yejun anyways?  Out of all the names he could've chosen, he chose Yejun? It's such a random name."

Mina tuts her head, the sound of paper flipping through. "I don't think it's so random, Jeong. Jun is for Jeong. Han is for the Han in Jeonghan. And Ye is for Yoon."

"I don't get it?" Jeongyeon frowns.

"He flipped the hangul around. It's a play on his own name."

"No he didn't." Jeongyeon observes carefully, pulling the file away from Mina.

"Okay? Well, it's close to his own name so...I'm correct in a way."

"Fine."

"I don't understand how we're going to rescue Nayeon with these files. Your brother was crazy man." Mina sighs frustratedly. "I had a plan yesterday but I forgot it the second I woke up this morning."

Sana has so much to take in.

Han Yejun's name isn't even that? But it's Yoon Jeonghan, and he's related to Jeongyeon too? Not to mention there's some sort of rescue plan for Nayeon?

"Well we'd better get a plan if he's coming soon." Jeongyeon closes Yejun's file. "What 'cha looking at?"

Mina flips through a green file. "There's a paper missing here, Yoo."

Sana doesn't hear anything else except for the words 'Im Nayeon', and leaves the library in a rush.

She's looking around for Nayeon everywhere. The gym, the bathroom, the music room, but she's nowhere to be seen.

Sana needs to find Nayeon before Jeongyeon does.

She heads downstairs and sees the wave of people approaching, and a certain someone in the crowd, tapping on the back of Yoo Jeongyeon.

"Shoot."

It's free period, and the girls have been looking through the files which Jeongyeon had retrieved the night before.

"There's a paper missing here, Yoo." Mina flips through Jeongyeon's file. "It's literally the main part of your file that's missing."

Jeongyeon looks shocked, and takes her file from Mina and starts looking.

No matter how hard she tries, it's not there.

Nayeon. Shoot.

"You look annoyed. You know who took it?"

Jeongyeon nods and clenches her fists, breathing in and out. "Im Nayeon. She was in the archives last night, took my file."

"Damn, you got up-handed. I thought you were smarter than that." Mina jokes, pulling out Yejun's—or Jeonghan's—file. "Anyways I looked through Jeonghan's file and he's been on record for a lot of things."

"Such as?"

"Graffiti on private property, coming in late for five days in a row, causing a riot and nuisance in the halls, distraction using fireworks-"

"Fireworks?" Jeongyeon scoffs. "Of course."

"...Public exposure and indecency, the list goes on." Mina pushes the file for Jeongyeon to read. "I'm still shocked at how the school is still accepting him back."

Jeongyeon bites her lips as she scans through the paper, wondering how her half-brother got himself into this wreck.

"Do you think he still has ties with your father?" Mina suggests, and Jeongyeon knows that it's definitely a possibility.

"He's always been the family favourite. I was just second in line." Jeongyeon grits her teeth as memories come back to her.

Mina can sympathise with her. She knows what it's like to be a shadow to someone.

The bell rings for second period, and Mina snaps out of her thoughts. The two don't bother to greet each other goodbye, and head in separate directions.

The hallways are bustling with students who are eager to get to class, and Jeongyeon knows it's normal to feel the budge of students brushing up against her.

But there's a constant poke into Jeongyeon's shoulder which makes her turn around, looking at Im Nayeon.

"Jeongyeon!" She attempts calling out, but the noise of the crowd is drowning her voice out.

"Nayeon." Jeongyeon fights back the crowd. "If you want to talk to me, can we do it somewhere where I'm not being pulled away like the Red Sea?"

Nayeon nods her head, parting through the waters and dragging Jeongyeon out with her.

Sana ponders at the gym, because so much things are on her mind.

It's the fact that as soon as Yoo Jeongyeon joins the school, so much drama occurs, and so much more students are enrolling—all with ties to the girl.

Han Yejun is just a cover-up name, who has turned out to be the runaway brother of Jeongyeon, and Mina knows all about them.

But Mina and Jeongyeon don't seem like best friends, or friends at all.

"Unnie." A soft voice calls out. "Unnie, it's me. Dahyun."

Sana looks up at her girlfriend and just puts her head down. "Hey, Dubu."

"Is something wrong, unnie? You didn't go to lunch today." Dahyun hugs Sana, who doesn't budge, even though it's a surprise that Dahyun is giving all of this affection.

"It's all fine." Sana sits up and gives her best smile, no matter how fake it feels to herself, Dahyun knows what a genuine Sana smile looks like: it's definitely not whatever she's doing.

"Is this about the Nayeon and Jeongyeon thing? Or about Han Yejun? Or Mina?"

Sana can't help but laugh. "What if I say it's all four?"

Dahyun opens her eyes in shock. "Sheesh. They all connected in some way or something?"

"Something like that." Sana huffs. "Hyun, you said your brother works in IT, right?"

"Which brother? I have four."

"Uhm....can you list them in order? I can't remember any."

"Seokjin, Namjoon, Hanbin and Taehyung. All work in IT in one way or another."

"Don't the last two work in Music Tech?" She raises her eyebrows. Dahyun nods and then realises.

"Namjoon. You'll be wanting to talk to him." Dahyun smiles before resting her head on Sana's arched back. "Why? Something big happening?"

Sana purses her lips, not wanting to tread on a mine. "Something like that."

The younger girl nods her head and doesn't speak.

She knows that at times when Sana asks for help from someone, it must be serious. Because Sana doesn't like to bother people for whatever reason it may be.

But Dahyun's getting the feeling that she might need to be involved as well.
