The principle and I had talked over who I was staying with since I could no longer stay in my old cabin, seeing as I was robbed. Unfortunately, I now had to room with Link.

Yes.

The boy who ran into me with his skateboard and swore he would get revenge.

Yes, that Link.

We had walked across the campsite to the boy's cabins, and I felt slightly out of place. Just slightly.

"Mrs. Meyers, are you sure this is the ONLY place available?" I squeaked out.

She nodded her head, looking very professional. "Yes, dear. Link is a fine young man and I am absolutely sure you two will get along quite well."

My face twisted slightly, still feeling unsatisfied. My insides were squirming and I had butterflies fluttering in my stomach due to nervousness.

"Well, here we are, Zelda." The principal announced, knocking thrice on the door.

"Mrs. Myers? Uh, what a surprise to see you here." The jerk that's named Link said after he opened his cabin door.

She smiled politely. "Yes, hello Link. It is quite the surprise. Anyways, a change of plans had happened so," she stepped aside and gestured to me, who was standing behind her. "Say hello to your new roommate!"

He raised a brow as he looked at me. "Uh, she's a girl, or at least I'm sure she is."

I glared at him. "Hello, Link. It's so nice to see you." I said with fake cheerfulness. "I'm your new roommate. I'm sure we'll have lots of fun staying together."

His eyes raked over me before looking me in the eye. "I'm confused?" Link turned to the principal, a questioning look in his blue eyes.

"Well, Zelda here had gotten some issues with her cabin and now has to room with you." She explained cheerfully, not noticing the thick tension in the air.

"Issues?" He echoed. "Like what?"

The fake grin and cheerful expression I had wore dropped immediately as I scowled. "None of your business."

"Zelda! Be respectful and glad that this young man is letting you room with him." Myers butted in.

Link blinked. "I am?"

She silenced him. "Yes, you are. End of discussion." Her stern expression suddenly wiped off her face as a huge smiley grin slapped on. "Anyways, I'm off. Don't do anything you wouldn't want your kids to do!"

I flushed before glancing at Link. "Uh.."

He raised up a hand, basically telling me to shut up.

Narrowing my eyes, I slapped his hand away, earning a loud, "Hey!"

I glared at him as I put a hand on my hips. "Don't put your hand in front of my face! Just stay out of my way, Link, and we will be cool, okay." I said sweetly.

He frowned. "You don't tell me what to do."

"Well, I do now."

Link rolled his eyes, walking away and muttering, "What a freaking spoiled brat."

Fuming, I called after him, not caring that some of the cabins surrounding us could eavesdrop. "I heard you, you jerk!"

Someone please kill me now!
