"I'm so sorry this happened to you, Miss Zelda."
I sighed and looked down, the memories still fresh in my mind. "It's quite alright."
The woman investigator nodded and continued. "A few investigators and I are sad to say that we have found nothing about the robbers. There are absolutely no fingerprints, no cameras, and no evidence at all." She said as my small string of hope snapped.
"But we were able to find some your stuff that was unharmed." The investigator said as she pulled out a box onto the table in front of me. "There are some clothes, a luggage, and a small ring."
I pulled the box and pressed it lightly to myself. I whispered softly. "Thank you."
She nodded and gave me a sympathetic smile. "No problem, my dear." She stood up, her chair making a small screeching noise. "Well, now at my job here is done, Principle Myers would like to have a word with you." The investigator said as I nodded.
I sat in the chair quietly as I waited for the principle. Not long after, She walked in, a sad smile accompanying her face.
She sat across form me, her hands clasped together. "Zelda, I am so so sorry to hear this had happened to you. When I heard the news, I must say, I was shocked. No sweet, kind, and smart girl like you should go through this. Unfortunately, there are no other empty cabins for you to live in."
I gasped. "Does that mean I have to leave Camp Smash?" I said with slight worry and sadness.
She nodded her head. "Yes. But, if you would like to stay, you will have to share a room with another person."
I nodded my head vigorously. "Yes! Sure! I'll stay with another person."
Principle Myers gave me a grin. "Of course. The person you'll be staying with is Link.
Oh, sure. Link...wait...WHAT!
"B-but Principle Myers, Link is a boy." I sputtered out.
She smiled knowingly. "Yes, Link is indeed a boy."
"A-and, I'm a girl."
"I know you are."
"Mrs. Myers! Link is a boy and I'm a girl! There is no way I'm staying with a guy! No one here has roomed with the opposite gender, so why do I have too? Can't I room with Lucina?" I rambled on.
She let out a small laugh. "Zelda, there are no other rooms for you to share. Everyone here has a roommate. Link and you are the only ones who don't. Lucina is rooming with a girl named Rosalina, if I remember correctly."
Oh no.
The principle stood up. "Well, now that that's settled, let's get introduce you to your new roommate."
I grinned with fake cheerfulness. "Yeah, let's go." But when really, I was screaming bloody hell in my head.
Could this summer get any worse?
