I looked at myself through the floor length mirror in my room. My mother had taken me to the hospital once she had seen my cut. When the doctor asked what happened, I told them the truth. The image of the boy who had crashed into me flashed into my head.
Come to think of it, he's actually quite cute. With his shaggy dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes. His tan skin that must have made girls go wild. Yeah, he was cute.
I glanced down at my leg, that was now wrapped up and disinfected. I looked back up at myself, studying my features.
Lucina said I wasn't ugly. But what about me was pretty?
My long brown hair was tied up in a high ponytail, away from my face, a purple bow placed right on top of it. I had on a pair of Jimmy Choo flats matched with a my light blue ripped shorts. My shirt was a cute top that had slices in the back, the front saying 'forever young'. I had put little mascara on my eyelashes, trying to bring out my dark blue eyes.
Something I had inherited from my deceased dad.
I felt my eyes water slightly as I thought about him. My dad was like my best friend. Honestly, I loved my dad more than my mom. He was always there for me.
I wiped the tears away and walked downstairs into the kitchen. Yesterday, I had gone through the pile of student camp enrollments and I still had to add Rosalina's friends, who sent them just this morning.
I grabbed the pile of papers and put them into a hot pink folder and laid it on the side. Checking the mail outside, I got the other enrollments. I looked at the small stack and counted 6 papers.
I pulled out the first paper when I got back inside. I felt my heart stop when I saw the picture of the person who was enrolling.
No way.
No way was this guy friends with Rosalina. This was probably the worlds worst coincidence.
The guy in the picture was the cute guy who crashed into me and gave me a huge cut on my leg. I scanned over the paper and look at his name.
Link Gaiden.
Hmm, pretty cute name, too. I shook my head, trying to push those thoughts away.
I pulled out the next paper and felt my palms get sweaty.
Seriously? Does life hate me or something?
I felt my heart tighten at the picture. His blue hair was exactly the same as I last saw him. His piercing blue eyes that were so beautiful you could get lost in them.
My thumb skimmed over his name printed in ink.
Marth Lowell.
I shoved the paper under the Link guy's paper, not wanting to look at Marth's picture anymore. It hurt to much. I just couldn't handle it.
Looking through the other papers there were two other girls and boys. They were familiar faces.
Samus Aran. The school's badass.
Peach Toadstool. The head cheerleader.
Ike Greil. The football team's quarterback.
Roy Pharae. The fire-obsessed boy.
All of them, including that Link boy and Marth, were 18. I was 17, my birthday being in exactly a week. I sighed as I placed the papers into the pink folder with the other enrollments. Tomorrow was the day I was leaving to camp.
Camp Smash.

I sat in the backseat of my mom's car, on the way to Camp Smash. Unfortunately, Lucina was leaving to camp tomorrow, meaning I had to go through one day without her.
My palms were sweating, and I felt my heartbeat increase. My breathing was cut short when I saw the 'Welcome to Camp Smash' sign come into view.
You might think I'm overreacting, but I have a good reason to.
I have an ex-boyfriend, a crazy hot guy who seems hell bent on getting revenge on me, a pyromaniac redhead boy, a mean badass tomboy, and a typical cheerleader attending the same camp as me.
Yes, I went through their profiles so I know all about them.
And they all happen to be Rosalina's friends.
Usually, every year since I have been to Camp Smash, I would be thrilled. But now, I was just plain nervous and scared.
Because I know that this year will no doubt be anything but normal.

"Bye, mom!"
"Bye, Zelda! Have a good summer, dear!" My mom shouted as she drove off. Dust flew into the air as I coughed, the dust filling up my lungs. After regaining my breath, I looked around.
Everything looked exactly the same as last year.
Beside me I hade two duffel bags and a large carry-on filled with clothes and necessities. In my left hand was was the folder filled with the enrollment papers.
I sighed as I turned around, slugging the duffel bags over my shoulders and dragging the carry-on to my cabin. Every year I had the same cabin so I didn't need to check in with the camp headmaster.
I walked in my cabin and dropped the bags. I breathed out and stretched.
"Who the hell are you? What are doing in my cabin?!"
I immediately froze and turned to look behind me. There, standing in only a thin pink towel, was a blonde girl staring wide eyed at me.
Um, what the hell?
