"Don't wait up." I tell her.

"Alright." Sasha agrees, grabbing her luggage and leaving the compartment.

I grab my own luggage and soon close the compartment door behind me. I walk down the thin hall, following students with bags and duffles.

"Audrey! Over here!"

I turn in the direction of my name being called and standing on the concrete platform was Morgan with Sasha right next to her.

A wide grin spreads across my face as I quickly make my way towards them.

"Hi." I chuckle, hugging Morgan tightly. "It feels like I haven't seen you in ages."

"Well you know, I'm not one to ever be on time or show, am I." She laughs.

"That statement is correct." I smirk.

"All students of Domesdale Academy, please follow me to be escorted right this way." An old women calls.

"Right, we should go then."

"How was break?" Morgan asks as we both unpack the items in our bags.

"Fine really, nothing too special." I shrug.

I want to tell her all about it but there's just so much to explain, isn't there. I mean I had Felix Blackwood stay in my bedroom for two weeks as we both bonded over everything.

The walks in the park, Christmas, the late nights in bed, it would all just go over her head. I want to take it slow. Even though that didn't necessarily happen with Felix it should still take time to tell others.

"How was yours?" I ask after a bit.

"Same old. Just visited family and there I was, back home." She explains.

"Well I wish I could visit you more often. Cheshire seems nice." I smile at the thought.

"Says you." She chuckles.

"I like new things. New places." I defend.

"Whatever you say. Now hurry, I'm hungry for some breakfast." She grins.

"Yeah, yeah ok." I nod, smiling as well.

"You think she knows?"

"Knows what?" I ask, taking a bite of my pastry.

"That her boyfriend's cheating on her." Morgan shrugs.

"What? Who?" I ask, almost choking on my food in surprise. Well I think I can now confirm, secrets do lead to worry.

"Grace. I'm pretty sure Adam is hooking up with some blonde from French class behind her back." She snickers.

I sigh quietly in relief.

"Grace is a blonde..." I trail off slowly.

"Ok well it's definitely not Grace. Grace always wears her blazer, this girl doesn't. I saw them in the corridor near the boy's dormitory a few weeks ago."

"Oh come on, how do you know that for sure?" I ask again with a chuckle.

"Okay once again Audrey, I'm taking notes while observing. Grace wears her hair down. This girl, whatever her name is, wears her hair in a bun with some fancy bow." She explains.

I shrug. "Well you can do yourself a favor and catch a cheater." I smirk.

"Maybe." She trails off whilst smiling.

My feet walk slowly through the old, squeaky halls. I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking for someone in particular. I glance through every corridor and room, trying to maybe spot Sasha. Maybe she knew where he was.

"Where are you." I mumble to myself. As if today couldn't get anymore confusing. I open and close every closet, empty classroom and more. Still nothing. Okay maybe I'm a bit desperate at this point. I should just wait-

"Audrey!"

I stop, whipping my head around at the sudden voice in the still, empty hall.

"Elliott." I smile. "There you are."

Once again, not the exact individual I was hoping to find but this will have to do.

"It's so good to see you again." He breathes, grabbing my waist softly and pulling me into an embrace.

"You too." I chuckle, hugging him back. "I missed you." I smile, looking up into his light eyes.

Oh god, I feel so guilty. So disgusted at my own self. I mean look at him. He's completely clueless to what I was doing those few weeks. His smile and trust rest at the hands of a liar. What have you done Audrey.

He looks down to me, locking eyes into my own as I stand only a few centimeters away from him. "Did you enjoy your Christmas?"

"Oh, yes. I did, you?" I ask, still locked in his embrace.

"It was fine, really. Just presents and a big dinner, not much." He smiles softly.

I hum while nodding. "Are you ok?" I ask, examining his face.

"What? Oh, yeah. Just a bit tired. I wanted to sleep on the train but James kept disturbing me with some book." He explains, chuckling a bit.

"Well, alright then." I say again, sighing a bit while holding both his shoulders.

We stand in silence for a bit as I fix his shirt for him, buttoning a loose button from the top. He mumbles a thank you before speaking up again.

"I have to go. I'll see you this evening alright?"

"Of course." I smile, letting go of his embrace.

He grabs ahold of my jaw gently, using his other hand to pull a loose strand of hair behind my ear. His eyes lock with mine again before a soft kiss is planted onto my lips.

And with that, I watch him turn around and make his way down the hall before his figure is no longer in sight.

He knows something. And I have to find out what.
