I step out of the train and onto the cement ground. Several students follow behind as they scurry to collect their luggage.
I follow along, wanting to try and get mine as well. Tho it's always been a struggle to get through the crowd of students.
"Audrey!" I hear a familiar voice call. Turning around, I meet her large green eyes. "There you are." I laugh.
"My god, have I missed you." She breathes as we hug each other tightly. "Eh, didn't miss you that much." I smirk playfully as she punches my arm to the side.
"Where were you all summer?" Morgan asks as we both grab our luggage out of the trains cart. "I was calling your telephone for weeks."
"Oh jeez, sorry Morgs. I was visiting my grandparents." I frown. "Don't they live in France?" "Well yes, you dummy, that's why I couldn't answer the home phone." I laugh. She laughs along while rolling her eyes playfully.

Everyone walks down the dirt road that leads to school grounds. Chatting and carrying luggage, there's quite a lot of energy on this cold, foggy morning.
As we get closer to the large building, the tall gates start to open, allowing everyone to enter.
It's just how I remember it. Domesdale Academy for Boys and Girls, the letters on the school read. "Home sweet home, isn't it." Morgan cues. "Home sweet home." I repeat.
—
"Isn't this the exact dorm we had last year?" Morgan asks. "Well of course it is. Don't you remember? We stay in one dorm for two years and then a different one the rest." I laugh. "Hey! Don't judge." She laughs throwing a pillow from her bed at me. "Ow, stop." I giggle, trying to shield it.
"Do you want this side of the dresser?" She asks as I make my bed. I look at the six drawer dresser, "Yeah, sure." I nod. I finally finish putting clean sheets on the mattress and covering it with a duvet and two pillows.
The sheets are white silk. The duvet is also white but with small green and yellow flowers imprinted over it. The pillow cases are the same and a small throw pillow I have is a light green.
I set my lamp in the corner of my desk. Along with it, I set a candle, pens, some of my journals and extra papers for assignments on top. Neat and organized.
The leather bag that holds all my reading books is hung on a hook that's nailed to the door while Morgan and I continue to put our clothes away inside the wooden dresser.

"Well, I think everything's set." She says high-fiving me. "Agreed." "Now what." "We don't start school for a week so now what should we do?" "Want to take a walk?" I ask. "Sounds lovely." She responds.
We run down the many stairs and through the hallways. Many students have their dorm room doors open and the hallways buzz with chatter and laughter.
We exit the back doors and into the grassy area and gardens. Outside, many like us who are done setting their rooms up, walk around and sit in trees. Others run around in the garden and some are on picnic blankets in the grass.
"Wha-" Morgan starts until I tap her shoulder. "You're it!" I laugh running away. "Audrey! I'm so going to get you!" She scolds.
We both get stuck in a fit of laughter as she tries to catch me in the gardens. From all the vines and rose bushes, I know she won't find me if I hide. So that's exactly what I do.
I decide to hide behind a boxwood bush. No one is around this area so she won't suspect a thing. The area is lovely, with a small fountain in the middle of the area, there's also two benches across from each other and the bushes are quite tall.

I check the time on my watch. 9:06. Weird. We started playing this game at around 8:45 if I recall correctly. Well I mean no one is around here, so why would she find me here. I finally decide to give up. I was quite hungry actually. Why didn't I have breakfast again?
*snap* I turn my head around. Is she here? Is someone even here. I brush it off, probably just a small branch of some sort. Just as I come out of the bush, a hand grabs my shoulder.
—
I freeze. I slowly turn my head around. My eyes are met with very unfamiliar brown ones. "What are you doing here?" He asks.
I stand there. A little shocked honestly. "Um.." "I was trying to hide from my friend. "We were playing a game but she must've quit trying to look for me seeing as it's been a minute." I explain to the stranger. He stares at me for some time. Studying my face as if he was trying to read me like a book.
"Um." I clear my throat. "Sorry to interrupt the analyzing but who.. are you?" He chuckles, tearing his eyes away from my face. "Surprised you don't know, love." "Felix. Felix Blackwood."
