"Felix. Felix Blackwood."
—
I nod. "Um. "Your uh.. your hand is still there." I laugh. He nods with a small smirk. "I know." He mentions, tracing his hand down my arm half way before putting it back in his pant pocket. I clear my throat as the gesture was quite odd for a first impression.
"Well.. I should uh... go find my friend before she disappears." I smile. "It was nice meeting you Felix."
"You too, Audrey."
—
Someone tugs at my shoulder, "Jesus Audrey! Where were you? Took me long enough to find your sneaky bum." "Somewhere." I smirk. "Your too good." She rolls her eyes.
"Where'd you hide?" She smirks. "I'm not telling you." I chuckle. "Heyy." She teases.
I think back to the boy I just met. His figure was tall and lean. His wavy dark brown hair and hazel eyes. The tie to his uniform hung loosely along with his under shirt and blazer. He walked with some of a slump with his hands in his trousers pockets. His dress shoes were freshly shined along with black ankle socks. He also seemed to smell of smoked firewood and pine.
His left hand held a silver ring on the index finger and- "Audrey." "Audreyyy." She snaps her fingers in front of my face. "What- Where are we?" I snap away from the brief daze. "My god, the dining hall dumbass." She snorts.
"You want some breakfast?" She looks over at me. "Yes please." I say, clearly starving. As we sit down at one of the seven long wooden dining tables, more students start to pile in.
The chimes of the bell ring of indication that breakfast is being served. The ladies who work in the kitchens come around with carts of eggs, toast, sausage, yogurt, hot coffee, pastries and juice.
"Thank you." I smile as I'm served my food. I choose to eat toast, sausage, a danish and a cup of coffee this morning. Morgan thanks the woman as she's served two boiled eggs, a cranberry muffin and orange juice.
"I kind of miss the food." Morgan says as we both laugh. Morgan starts to talk about her summer, but my eyes travel to the table right next to us. There he is, sipping a cup of tea while listening to his friends conversation.
Just then, he catches my stare. I smile and he smirks back. That smirk. It almost causes goosebumps to cover your arms.
It's weird. I only met him briefly around thirty minutes ago and somehow... I was developing a crush.
