I'm not the one to be ashamed! you are! I do not want you to talk to my daughter! for all I care is that she's just someone you want to meet! I say raising my voice.

Abigail...abigail I wanted you to get me the information. did you? Jason says.

I'm not going to tell you that awnser. I say.

Then ill go to maxwell and ill get Amanda. he says.

Jordan's pov.

I open my eyes hearing a siren blaring.

I get out of bed and I run downstairs ( almost tripping a few times down)

Amanda. I say walking/running over to her.

She has her hands covering her ears.

Amanda. I say again.

She clenches my wrist.

Amanda if you can hear me then nod our head yes. I say

She does.

Follow me. I say walking outside.

She releases my wrist and moves her other hand down to her side.

Amanda are you ok? I say.

She nods her head.

What was wrong? I say.

The-the sirens someone turned them on. She says.

I know that. I say calmly.

My hearing went out of control. I couldn't hear anything. Once you can in I could hear a whisper. She says.

Can you hear me now? I say.

Yes. It's loud. She says.

Follow me. I say.

I need to bring her to Alexis. Just to make sure that she's alright.

Alexis. I say knocking on her office door.

The door opens.

Oh...Jordan nice to see you today. Alexis says.

Alexis i need to to check Amanda's hearing she was saying that the sirens where too loud. I could hear them but she couldn't hear anything else. I say.

Come on ill help you. she says.

Amanda how are you? Alexis says.

It's too loud. she whispers.

What's too loud? Alexis says.

The sirens. she says.

The sirens? where are the sirens? Alexis says.

In the compound. Amanda says.

Are you talking about the exit door? Alexis says.

Yes. amanda says.

Alexis walks over to me.

It's nothing to worry about. her hearing must be acting up from some type of noise that she heard. if she like this again then ask her what the last thing she hear. Alexis says.

I look over to amanda

Oh by the way I know that your her protecter. it's sweet that you care so much about someone. I'm surprised that you let her fight anyone. but there's something special about her. I'm not really sure what it is. Alexis says.

I take Amanda's hand and we walk outside.

It's around the nighttime.

I look up at the sky.

The stars are gleaming.

I close my eyes.
