Chapter 4: Tears And A Journey Ahead

I read the note.

Dear my daughter Amanda Edwards,

My name is Abigail Edwards. I want to meet you so badly. I am your mother. You must've became you wolf self a few years ago. I'm so proud of you. I told max to give this to you. I'm staying in the town New York. At 139 street. There should be a bakery that I work at. It's call Abigail's bakery. Amanda if I have died before we have met or you had read this then I love you. I want you to stay at the compound I don't want you to leave. You could be in big trouble. I want you to have friends and a life of happiness and joy.

Your mother Abigail Edwards.

Wet tears start to fall down my face. The cold wet tears slide down my cheeks. "What if she's alive? I could meet her. Jordan and Miranda are the closes family that I have." I say.

"I know I'll let you go behind the gates but you have to promise me that you come back." He says.

"I will- I mean I promise." I say.

"You will leave tomorrow so you can say goodbye to the Shay's." He says.

"Ok thank you so much this means a lot to me."

"Go now before I change my mind." He says.

I walk out of max's office. I run to the arena.

Jordan's there. as usual.

"Hey."

"You've been crying what happened?" He says.

"How do you know that?" I say.

"I've know you for how long? Fifteen? Sixteen? Years? Right?" He says smiling.

"We'll I have something to tell you." I say.

"What is it?" He says.

"I went to max's office and I asked him if he knew my parents so he told me that my mother left a note. He going to let me go beyond the gate to let me find my mother. She could be alive!" I say.

"Wait max being good to you. Wow. That's a shocker." He says.

"Yeah I know. I think that it's the most nice thing that he's ever said to me." I say.

"Yeah. Ok so how long will you be gone?" He says.

"Five to seven days." I say.

"Oh." He says looking down.

"Hey. Look at me." I say.

He looks at me.

"Your going to be fine. It's only going to be a week." I say smiling

He doesn't speak.

"I will never leave you. You are basically family to me." I say.

He smiles.

"Here if you ever get sad that I'm not here then smile." I say.

"Okay." He says.

"I need to get packing so could you get Miranda and come to my room in about an hour?" I say.

"Sure." He says.

"Don't be sad." I say walking out of the training room to my room.

I was going to have this longer but I accidentally deleted this chapter so...yeah the conversation with Amanda and Jordan was going to be longer. :( I'm really sorry. I wish that I could've remembered before I accidentally deleted it.
