Chapter 37: Broken/Wooden Box

Amanda! Jason says.

I keep running. How many times have I had to run today? Ugh!

I close my eyes and transform quickly to my wolf.

It's not hard to transform into my wolf. In one of the books that I read about transforming into your wolf it said that sometimes you can talk with you wolf or maybe your wolf takes over you ways of think or doing something like that. Most people in my pack ( before the battle ) didn't transform into there wolf because they don't find there protector. The majority of the adults have found there protector. I haven't or unless I accidentally did for a short time. Jordan said that he thinks that I'm his protector well...he could be mine.

I hear a crack noise. My foot starts to hurt each step I take.

I look behind me. Jason's gone. Thankfully.

I'm about fifteen minutes away from the compound.

I try to shake off the pain and I run to the compound.

I reach to the compound.

I see Ash and Miranda.

Ash! I say.

I walk over to them...limping

Amanda what did you do? Miranda says.

I'm not sure I was just running away from Jason and then I heard a crack. I say.

You could've broke it by stepping on something or you could've bruised it like what Jordan did. Miranda says.

Could you help me go to Alexis. I say.

The agony is worse.

Miranda and ash help me get to Alexis' office.

Well...Amanda since your here we could talk about whatever you wanted to talk about when you brought your friend over here to me me. Alexis says.

We could while you see if it's broken. I say.

Ok let me tell Miranda and Ashley that you'll be in here for a while and they can go back to whatever they were doing. Alexis says.

She walks over to the door and tells them that.

I lay my head back and sigh.

When is this going to be over!

Jordan's pov.

I walk into my room and I close my door

Sighing I rummage through my closet.

Many pairs of gloves, a few little things, some clothes, and my wooden box that's shut close.

My mother and father gave me it.

that is for you and your sister. There's many things in here. You'll know when the time has come to open this. That's what they told me when they gave me this.

I open the box.

It has a mirror on the top. And a wooden base.

I look through the items. Many bracelets, two diamond rings, a few little bottles that say 'wolfsbane' on them and a piece of paper that is folded Neatly

I sit the box down and I pick up the paper.

I unfold it.

Dear Jordan & Miranda,

I assume the time has come for you two to open this box. Each thing in here is special. I gave you two these things for a reason. Do not take advantage of these things. I want you to keep them till the time has come. Just like what you did with this box. The first thing in here is the two diamond rings. They are mine and your fathers wedding rings. The second thing is the bracelets. I think Miranda would want them instead of Jordan. The bracelets are ones that my
Best friend Abigail gave me for my wedding. Lastly are the bottles of wolfsbane. This is what I mean don't take advantage of. I don't want you to. If you do then I could be dangerous. Wolfsbane is very dangerous for our kind the wolves. It could kill a wolf in a matter of seconds. It is a highly poisonous flower that can be crushed or mixed in with liquids or other foods. The toxins of wolfsbane can easily sink through skin. Many Witches usually use wolfsbane to kill wolves or other immortals. It can stop you from transforming. Commonly when you use wolfsbane it will kill instantly.

Me and your father are on a boat. We wanted to bring you but we couldn't for our and your sakes. We do truly love both of you.

I hope we do meet again.

Sorry about such a short chapter! It just didn't seem right to go on with this chapter the next chapter will follow into this one so its a sorta cliffhanger.

Amanda might have a broken foot ( and Jordan doesn't know about it )

Jordan found the things that his parents left for him and Miranda ( when I said found I mean open up sorta thing. Do you know what I mean? )

OOO in the letter it said MY FRIEND ABIGAIL! Abigail is Amanda's mothers name! SO IS THERE A CONNECTION???
