Karate is a type of fighting but we don't teach or know much about it in the compound.

I open the door and walk inside. Amanda follows behind me.

There's people wearing white sort of jackets and a belt at there waists.

Hello. I say to the lady who's at the front desk.

Hello sir what would you like to do? She says.

I would like to know more about this karate place. I'm not really from around here. I say.

Oh. Karate is a type of skill. It's almost like fighting but it's not for self defense. I could let you watch some of the people and then you could go up against one if you like. She says.

Thank you. Do I have to pay for this? I say.

I smile.

You two could take a seat and watch for a few minutes. She says.

I walk over to one of the seats and I sit down.
