It has been a few weeks since you started school, and it has been going good. You and Aisha now spend a ton of time together, and you and all of the others act like you guys have been best friends since forever.
But once again, something keeps nipping at your mind.
Karate.
You haven't had the courage to tell Daniel that you wanted to join. Because when he asked you before, you said no. And Daniel and Sam's relationship has been amazing since then.
But today you finally plucked up the courage to ask him. I mean what could go wrong.
It was Saturday, and Daniel was about to leave to go train kids at the dojo.
(Sam left on her own.)
"Hey Dad?" You asked as he was about to leave. "Yeah, what's up?" He asked. "I was wondering if I-I could start karate again at Miyagi-Do?" You say nervously.
"Of course! Y/N, you don't have to be nervous about asking me that. I was actually hoping that you would say that" He laughed. "Come on, let's go" He said.
He gets in the driver's seat, and you get in the passenger's seat. Luckly, you were wearing athletic clothes, therefore you didn't have to change.
You and Daniel drove in complete silence until you arrived at Miyagi-Do.
"Y/N, thank you for coming. I thought that after Sam decided to join again, you would too, but I didn't think it would take you this long. Mr. Miyagi would be proud." Daniel said.
As Daniel was about to get out of the car, you say, "I miss him." Daniel knows who you are talking about. "Me too
Y/N/N me too" Daniel responds.
You walk inside the dojo to see all of your friends and some other kids that you don't know. "Y/N!! You came, finally!" Sam says as she hugs you.
"So you are starting again?" Aisha asks. "Yes, I really missed this place" You say as you look around and recognize little things from your childhood. Like where Mr. Miyagi taught you to block for the first time.
(Why am I crying?)
"You do karate?" Robby asks. "Yep, it's been awhile, but...yeah."
"Who knew Y/N LaRusso did karate" Demetri joked. "The real question is who knew that Demetri would go out of his comfort zone and do karate" You all laughed. There is something about saying karate that felt so nostalgic to you.
You went along with whatever Daniel and Johnny taught to the others, but you were the best at it. They let you all take a quick break. "LaRusso, good job" Johnny nods. "Thank you" You respond. "Since when did you get so good. I even struggled with that" Sam smiled. "I don't know, it just felt so....natural" You say.
"Well you did good" Miguel said. You and the rest of the dojo finished training for the day. "So, did you enjoy it?" Daniel asked as you two got in the car. "Yes Dad...thank you." You say.
"Glad. By the way, I think you do better karate than Sam. But don't tell her, okay?" He whispers. "My lips are sealed" You laugh.

You were very proud of yourself. You were beat after that. That night, you ate dinner, took a shower, and crashed. That was one great day.
