14. A Change of Heart

Y/N POV:
Today I had to deal with the aftermath of the "fight" with Tory. I wouldn't even consider it a real fight.

It was really just her demanding for me to fight. Which is a pretty dumb move in my opinion.

Today went pretty well until Spanish (or your preferred language). I was considering skipping.

But then I thought about what Dad or Daniel said to Sam last year.

"If there's one thing I learned, it's that you can't run away from your problems."

And now I live by that. To be honest, that's probably the wisest piece of advice that he has ever given out.

Anyways...I walk in to see her waiting for me. She looked thirsty for a fight. She looked as if she wanted to push me off of a cliff.

And that sent chills down my spine. It's scary to have someone wanting to hurt you 24/7.

I sit down and she whispers in my ear. "Scared of our little encounter yesterday?" Tory spat.

"There is nothing to be afraid of. All you did was basically demand a fight." I respond.

Now Sam and Robby turn around as they realize that Tory is going to start something soon. Very soon.

"Want another go? FIGHT DIRTY! WHO CARES HOW TOUGH YOU ARE, I JUST WANT A REAL FIGHT" She screams gaining everybody's attention.

"You know I won't strike first" I said quoting Daniel or "Dad".

Tory makes her move by attempting to kick me in the face, but instead I moved out of the way, and she ends up kicking Maddy in the face (sorry if your name is Maddy).

"YOU KEEP RUNNING AWAY! FIGHT ME B!TCH!!" Tory yells. "Wanna know why I don't wanna fight you?" Everybody then looks at me.

"This should be good" Tory mutters sarcastically.

"Because I don't wanna lose control of myself! Miguel got kicked over a staircase. Accident. Demetri got his arm broken. Accident. Well kinda. Daniel or um- my Dad and Johnny have hurt eachother. Mostly accidents. Wait- I take that back. But my point is, that everybody loses control of themselves, and so much has happened within this past week I am lost. I can't afford to get hurt, or hurt somebody else." I said. And it was the truth.

"Oh yeah, what has happened in the last week?" Tory says once again, ready to charge at me.

"Well, I figured out that Daniel LaRusso is not my real father, which makes Sam and Anthony not my real siblings. Then there's school. And you charging at me every d@mn chance you get. And I really don't understand why. I get that Sam has made some mistakes, and I also understand that I got inbetween that. It's just- when you care about someone whether it's family or a significant other, you would do anything to save them. And that's why I got inbetween your dumb rivalry. Because I care about both of your well beings, yes even you Tory. I don't want to be friends, I just don't want the bad air. So yeah, this last week my life has been turning out of control, and I can't sense wrong from right. You happy?" I said.

My mouth was dryyyyyyyy. But now was NOT the time. I was trying to make peace, water is not a priority.

Then the bell rings. Nobody wants to leave, but our teacher came back shooed all the kids away except for me, Sam, Tory, and Robby.

"I see yall have something to work out so I'm gonna leave you to it plus, I don't have to teach this period. Anyways, don't k!ll each other adios" Our teacher says.

"What do you want me to say?" Tory asks. "I just don't want you on my back every single second you can, I can barely keep my head above water. And Tory I know you some stuff going on at home, so if you need any help, let me know, and I will do what I can" I say.

Honestly, I feel bad for her. Like, really bad. I get that she has some stuff going on, and I genuinely want to help her.

"And Tory, I am sorry for kissing Miguel while you two were together. It was really wrong, but I was drunk and I couldn't tell, but that still doesn't make it right" Sam confesses.

"It's um...fine, I guess. Looking at it, I don't think that we were meant to be. And Y/N. I am really sorry for throwing you under the bus, I just thought that you and Sam had the perfect life" Tory says.

"No one is perfect, but can we just promise not get on eachothers heels anymore" I hoped.

"Deal LaRus- wait what is your last name?" Tory asks. "I don't kn-" I start.

Then Daniel walks in with a guy around his age. "Y/N it's Toguchi" Daniel says.

"Who is that?" I gestured to the man next to Daniel. "That's your father" Daniel says.

"Y/N, I am so sor-" Dad says but I cut him off by hugging him. It was a miraculous moment.

"It's okay, it's good to know who my real family is" You laugh and everybody joins you. "But what kind of last nams is Toguchi?" You ask and everybody laughs so hard.

"It's an Okinawa thing, I'll have to take you there someday" Dad says.

I was beyond excited for the adventures that are to come in the future, but there is one more thing I have to do.

Tell Robby Keene that I love him.

A/N: Holy sh!t!!! Sorry got a little carried away. This story has been a ride that I have really enjoyed, and thank you all for everything. And I hate to say it, but there is only ONE part left of your story. Only one. I hope you enjoyed part 14 of Unlocked.
