in love with a dragon (dragon!kokichi x shuichi)

a day at the beach

"It's sooo hot out" Kokichi whined as he laid next to tsumugi on the floor "there hasn't been a heatwave like this in decades" Tsumugi said as she fanned herself with her hands "shuichi what do you humans do when it gets hot outside" Kokichi said as he turned towards me "well some people go to a beach to go swimming and stuff but-" Kokichi and tsumugi were already off of the floor and in bathing suits. Tsumugi had on a black bikini while kokichi had on white swim trunks "let's go!" Kokichi said as his tail wagged with excitement. I sighed "sorry to disappoint you guys but I don't really want to go to the beach...."

Kokichi gave looked into my eyes. he looked like he was about to cry. I looked away "no" They immediately groaned and fell to the floor dramatically "I guess we'll just sit here and melt to death" Kokichi said "what a cruel fate" Tsumugi whined. They look so sad.....I sighed "fine we'll go to the beach" "Yay!" "Thank you shuichi!"

"Wow look at all of these humans" Kokichi said as he looked around "dragons are never together like this...oh! And what's this stuff?" He said as he picked up a handful of sand and put it in his mouth "kokichi! That's sand and it's not food spit it out!" I exclaimed as I shook kokichi to get him to spit out the sand he swallowed. He eventually did and I set him down. "Dont do that again okay?" Kokichi pouted "it didn't taste good anyway" Tsumugi twisted her parasol in her hand with a gentle smile "look at all of this space kokichi! Wanna go for a swim" Kokichi perked up "yeah! Come on!"

Tsumugi calmly walked towards the ocean while kokichi grabbed my hand and ran "I haven't gone for a swim in sooo long!" Kokichi said before taking a few steps into the water then he started glowing and grew once again into a dragon. "Choo choo! All aboard!" Kokichi called as he flicked his tail at us. Tsumugi jumped onto his back without hesitation and I followed close behind then kokichi dove into the water. I instinctively held my breath and closed my eyes but then I suddenly heard "hey open your eyes just trust me on this"

It sounded like tsumugi. I opened my eyes like she told me to see that I was.....sparkling? She must've casted some sort of spell on us before we went under. "Isn't it beautiful shu? Look at the octopuses" Kokichi said. I caught one with my hands and held it briefly before handing it to tsumugi "aww can I keep it?" She asked with a smile. I shook my head "sorry there's a strict no pets policy in my apartment complex" "but you're allowed to keep kokichi!" "That's different"

The dragon stopped swimming for a second "did you just compare me to a pet? I thought what we had was special!" Kokichi cried "but....you are an animal right?" "....fair enough" Then he swam up above the water  "this was a great idea" Kokichi said as he jently pushed himself along the the surface of the water "thanks for the swim kokichi who's a good boy" I said as I scratched kokichi's head "I am! I'm a good boy me! me! me!....um.....i am a good boy right?" "Yes! You're a good boy! The very best boy!"
