in love with a dragon (dragon!kokichi x shuichi)

I woke up to see that there was an empty space next to me. My blood ran cold and the scenario briefly brought back a repressed memory of a nightmare I had once. I shook it off before heading to where kokichi would most likely be, the roof.

I saw kokichi on the ground crying.

"Hey hey don't cry...whats wrong?" Kokichi tilted his head up to look me in the eyes but...he didn't look sad at all surprisingly "It's finally here..." He said as he pointed at the sky.

I followed his hand to the sky....then the moon.

It shown a magnificent blue color.

"Shuichi...." Kokichi began as he wiped off his tears "would you....please....soul bond with me?" He asked showing off a strange timidness that he has never displayed before.

I smiled before taking his hand in my own. "Of course I will"

He stared at me in suprise before shutting his eyes with a small smile.

Before I knew it the stars seemed like they had dissapeared and the light glow of the moon focused into more of a spotlight shining on us.

Kokichi's almost hypnotizing eyes shown a blue color much like the glow on the moon. It was truly intoxicating to behold....before I knew it kokichi kissed me with no warning, wrapping his tail around me to pull us even closer. His mouth tasted like....a dragon fruit.

The night had ended way sooner than kokichi probably hoped but he still laid next to me with a smile plastered on his face. "So....what did you think".....i honestly didn't know what I thought....the variety of ways kokichi's name was said that night coupled with the strange feeling it gave me and the familiar but still somehow completely new coldness confused me "it was....certainly interesting to say the least" "Interesting in a good way right?" "Of course" Kokichi paused for a moment before letting out a giggle "now you and I are bound together, at the soul...closer than any possible human relationship" Kokichi said as he stared into the sunrise "and humans think marriage is the closest relationship you could have"

"Shuichi?"

"Yes?"

"I love you....i-i iloveyoumorethananythingelseinthefourglorys!" He rushed through his speech in flustered embarrassment but I was able to make out what he said. I let out a small laugh "I love you too, my little dragon overlord" I said as I Pat him on the head. He rested his head on my shoulder as a response "dragon overlord....i like that name....keep calling me that!" "Alright"
