"Ahh...ahhhh achu!" I was woken up by a series of...weirdly cute sneezes so I got up and walked into the living room where my pet dragon slept. Kokichi wimpered and whined as he shifted uncomfortably "hey what's the matter? Do you need to stretch out again?" The dragon boy shook his head "no? I don't know...maybe" "How are you feeling?" He thought for a moment before sighing and laying down on the couch "my nose is runny, I sneeze all the time, my throat hurts..." That sounds like a cold "my wings ache my head hurts and my tail keeps twitching" Or maybe it's some sort of magical virus

"Tsumugi! Hey do you know about magical diseases?" "Tsumugi said that she went out so she could get some sort of magical crystal that she needed"....oh this is going to be much harder on my own "Maybe we should go to the doctor...but I don't want you to be taken away and experimented on so we need to hide those dragon-y features of yours"....how are we going to do that? I pressed his horns down into his head...they stayed down for a moment before they sprung back out seemingly sharper and shinier then ever "....so that's not going to work..." How about the tail...i held it in my hands and stared at the spikes "are these retractable?" "Yeah...You can also pull them out and use them as weapons" As promised they retracted back into his tail...that's progress I guess. It's too big to hide with pants.....maybe..... "You said you can regenerate your tail right?"

"Shuichi! That hurrrrrt! " Kokichi whined as I held his tail in my hand. The tail wiggled around in my arms as if it was still attached to his body....it creeped me out. "Be careful...If any blood gets in your mouth or eyes- ah...Achu! i-it could kill youuuu" Kokichi warned before adding "dont worry.....its only poisonous if you don't cook it" I rolled my eyes "I'm not going to eat you" "Come onnnn I taste really good" I shook my head "no! And that's final!" Kokichi pouted "now we can probably hide those wings of yours under a shirt but those horns are still a problem...." i took my hat off and plopped it on kokichi's head as a temporary solution....i waited a moment and they didn't break through the hat. We found a solution!

I quickly grabbed a shirt from my room and handed it to the sick dragon. He stared at it before asking "....how....how do you put on a shirt" "Have you never put on a shirt before?" Kokichi shook his head "no...dragons just use their- ahh achu! scales as clothing so we don't need shirts" I sighed as I took it back "raise your arms" Kokichi did as instructed and I pulled the shirt over his head for him. He tried to stretch out his wings but quickly found out that he couldn't "alright let's go the stupid disease wizard" "Do you mean a doctor?" "Yeah that"

"The test results are back and his immune system seems to be very new to this environment....it seems to be trained for viruses that don't exist like 'reifou'" Kokichi raised his hand in objection. I shook my head and told him to keep quiet but he said it anyway "Actually reifou is very real! It's a magical disease that targets the scales and wings of dragons" The doctor paused "...how old is he?" "Six! He's six....so he's old enough to be thinking like that" I lied nervously. The doctor paused before laughing "oh that makes much more sense now....although I am interested in how he was able to train his immune system to fight off a made up virus" "I caught it once! My wings started rotting and my scales got ichy"

The doctor brushed it off as the imagination of a six year old instead of actually listening to him "also we saw something in his bloodstream that was rather unusual, his blood shared a lot in common with the blood of lizzards....in fact he could be classified as a lizzard easier than he could be classified as human" He said before he finally gave his diagnosis "but that aside he just has a cold, take good care of him and he'll be better in no time" "Thank you doctor"
