It's summer now. Butterflies, green grass, cows and ducks...
Ah, lovely summer.
Within the last week and a half, I've worked hard. I've gotten cows, ducks, and sheep. My farm is growing nicely. I've got many plants, animals, and I've gotten Clint to upgrade most of my tools.
Speaking of upgraded tools, I've gone into the mines several times. I've gotten nearly towards the bottom, and I'm proud of it. I never fainted again, and I've collected a million different gems and crystals and artifacts that I donate to the museum. I've learned that Abby likes Amethyst, and so I try to save some for her.
I wonder if Sebastian would like a gift. Maybe he'd like something emo.
I mentally go through my excess crystal collection.
I've got quartz, jade... calcite, diamond, earth crystal... emerald, fairy stone... frozen tear, hematite...
Hmm. Frozen tear. That seems depressing. Maybe he'd be interested.
I stick it on top of my bed, making a mental note to give it to him.
Before winter approaches, I want to get a silo. Maybe I can go over to Robin today and ask her to build it for me.
What if Sebastian is there?
Okay, so what if Sebastian is there. I don't have to talk to him.
But I want to talk to him.
Yeah, I know. Maybe I should bring the frozen tear just in case.
No, then it'll look like I came over there just to give him a little blue crystal. That's weird.
Yeah. That's weird.
Sighing, I put on my boots and stick the materials I'll need for the silo. It's hot out, and so I wear shorts and a short sleeve t-shirt. My hair, since I cut it, is short enough that it's not heavy on my neck, so I leave it down.
I got a few compliments on it. Emily thought it was beautiful and Leah braided it. Abby thought it was cute and fit me well. Alex told me it was hot. I told him to stop. I said thanks, but stop. I still can't believe that in a tipsy emotional session I cried to the wizard and got a hair cut. I seriously need to pull it together.
As I go outside, I notice that my mailbox has something inside of it. The wind blows my hair around, and I stick two letters into my backpack, making a mental note to open them later.
I milk my cows, shear my sheep, and get the eggs from my chickens and ducks. Dust follows me around, and once I'm done, I wipe the sweat from my brow and start making my way up to Robin's.
I forage a little bit on my way up, finding some berries and munching on them. They're not very tasty.
Finally, I make my way over to Robin's. Frogs croak, and one hops onto my shoe. Grinning cheekily, I scoop it up and put him in my pocket. NICE.
The door creaks as I enter, and Robin greets me with a smile.
"Hi Fran! I haven't seen you in a while. How's the farm?" She asks warmly.
"It's going good, I think," I respond, smiling.
"So what can I do for you then?"
"I'm here to ask you to build a silo, I've got all the money and materials," I tell her, proudly. I pull it all out of my backpack and she grins.
"All right, then, I'll take it all from you and I'll start tomorrow. Excuse me, I'm going to start on the blueprint!" She says happily, taking the materials and coins and exiting the room.
