Misty and I stand in front of Montgomery's dorm door the next morning. I had managed to convince her to let me wait till morning. "Maybe this isn't serious enough to bother him," I say.

"No!" She uses her black folded fan to tap my nose. Her ensemble this morning is a little more Gothic victorian than normal, she is still sporting the big black boots and neon-coloured hairpieces and clips, just with more frills and lace. "Knock on the door, Mya. You promised me." We stand there just looking at each other for a moment, "Knock or I will!"

"Wow, you can be kinda bossy and stubborn when you want to be, huh?"

"Just knock on the flipping door already!" She is irritated. I take a deep breath in and knock on the door. A cough is heard on the other side before the door rips open. It's not Montgomery. A tall slender man with light messy hair in a long baggy white T-shirt stands before us. He has a tube of toothpaste in his hand and he holds it up to his mouth as he squeezes the contents of the tube into his mouth.

"Yeah, can I help you?" He asks.

"I don't know if we have the right place, is Montgomery here?" I ask, half hoping he'd say no and we can try again another time when we found where his dorm actually is.

"Uh, yeah. That's my roommate. Hold on, I'll get him," He mostly closes the door leaving it open just a crack, this allows us to hear inside.

"Was he eating toothpaste?" Misty asked.

"It sure looked that way..." I said while nodding. I folded my arms in front of me, with all the letters and the coin in my hands.

"Hey Monty, there's some really hot chicks looking for at the door," The roommate yells.

"How many times do I have to tell you, my name is not Monty?" Montgomery says back. Misty lets out a quick scoff before recomposing her serious attitude, thereby proving she is still her goofy self.

"First off, it's called a nickname, bro! Secondly, are you going to tell me how a nerd like you has, not one, but two babes in the hallway looking for you?" The roommate asked. Misty and I are now struggling to stay serious, despite our reasons for being here in the first place.

"That's not funny," I lie, as I try to swallow my laughter.

"Completely dry," Misty sarcastically adds. We both stand and wait for Montgomery to come to the door. While we wait, we hear him comment on his roommate for eating toothpaste again. "Again?" Misty questions and looks at me, as if I have the answers.

"Don't look at me, I don't have a roommate," I say as Montgomery swings the door open.

"Consider it a blessing," he says. "Now you two, to what do I owe the pleasure, at six o'clock in the morning?" He was still in PJ's. It's interesting to see him in something that's not crip or tailored. Instead, he was in a white wife-beater tank top and dark blue poke-a-dot PJ pants. He leaned his arm on the door frame for support. Even his hair was a mess.

"Sorry to bother you," I start, "Believe me if I had somewhere else to go for this I would."

"Go for what?" He askes.

"Well, you see, after what happened two years ago my name can't be on any kind of report or I get kicked out of school, even if I'm the victim," I say.

"I'm waiting for the part where this involves me," He tits his head up and looks down at me.

"I have a very serious problem and there is nowhere or no one I can go to get help without getting expelled. The school doesn't trust me, they are convinced I'm looking for attention and won't even look at my evidence," I say quickly, "It's a supernatural problem, and I thought you being the highest grading student in the class, you could help me."
