"You will be in his head. Mantis would have hidden Montgomery in memory somewhere. First, you must find him. After, you will have to break him from the memory script. He will still be trapped in the memory but you will be able to talk to him. He shan't waver too much from the script, every time he does you risk alerting Mantis. You must get him to admit something he wouldn't say out loud to free his memories, he won't be able to remember anything after the memory he is in unless he admits something, the more he admits the more he remembers. Once he remembers everything, he is free to find Mantis and fight him to kick him out," Walker explains.

"I don't see how this is dangerous to me," I respond. Gloria reaches out to take my empty teacup from me.

"You have limited time. If you are in there too long, you won't ever get to leave. If Mantis is alerted he could be moved memories, the process will start over but your time won't. Only Montgomery can let you out, I can get you in, but he must release you," Walker sits back in his chair across from us.

"So, break the script, get him to tell some tough truths, and get out without alerting Mantis as fast as possible, got it!" I say.

"This is not something a normal has ever been successful at, though, if you remove your pendant, your abilities would hopefully help you have more time. I only know of one person in all of history that has successfully broken the person free and got out," Walker adds.

"Mya, I don't know about this," Misty worries.

"And these are the only options?" I ask Walker.

"Because Mantis is a powerful dark male witch, yes."

"Mya, if you fail then you both end up trapped in there with Mantis forever," Misty is concerned, I don't blame her. But I know I have to, for some reason, I just know I can do it.

"I'll do it."

Walker sets a vile full of a thick blue substance on the side table. Misty follows him around, trying to convince him to convince me not to go through with this, "There has to be another way?"

"He is a powerful warlock, an exorcism wouldn't expel him. This is a basic fact you learned in class your first week at school," Walker says as he hands me a pillow.

"You said it yourself, here chances are low, like really low," Misty cries.

Walker ignores her and just addresses me, "When we start you will drink the blue stuff and lie down. You will then fall asleep. Time works differently there, what feels like fifty minutes is actually twelve hours. Try to avoid being in there for more than three days."

"I understand," I say to him.

"Your pendant?" He holds out his hand. I realize what he's asking for and I take my necklace off, plopping it into his palm. He looks it over, "Your father came to me when you were but a girl. He was confused as to how you could have powers. I gave him this sealing pendant to allow you to be a normal girl."

"You knew my father?" I asked him.

"Your father introduced me to Montgomery's parents," He smiled.

"My father knows Montgomery's Parents?" I asked.

"Your father went to grade school with his, they were friends," A soft smile grows on his face, "and now you two are joined. You were always supposed to meet, Mya. See, he introduced me to them long before either of you were even an Idea. They were still just students at the academy when I met them. We helped each other, and my case brought them together. Your families are supposed to be connected."

"So, in a way," Misty starts, "if it wasn't for Mya's father, Montgomery wouldn't even exist?"

"I have to get him out," I say as o grab the vile, "We are connected, I can get him out!"
