*2 YEARS LATER*

knockemstiff ohio, 1965.

"i'm sure lenora, its all good, everything's all good and ready to go now hurry up and get your ass in your car and get here as fast as you can! if he gets here before you imma whoop you!"

today marked two years without harry. arvin had been taking it pretty rough, i never fully understood how much harry impacted arvins life until it was too late, and to this day i regret that more than anything. but even with challenges, arvin still went back to basic and graduated a few weeks after harry's death. it was hard for him to jump right into deployment but i assured him that everything would be fine and that we'd be able to write letters back and forth the entire time he was gone. it's been a little less than a year since he left for deployment and he's finally coming home. he had left a week or two after harry had died but it only lasted for the rest of the year and i got to spend about 3 or 4 months with him until he had to leave for deployment again.

"alright cake is good, lenora's on her way and the house is cleaned...perfect!"

i was indeed talking to myself, although spidey walked around the kitchen while i tried to make everything perfect so was i really talking to myself? anyways, back on track...when arvin first left for deployment and we said our last goodbyes it was rough, i had just lost my brother and now my boyfriend was leaving, how shitty right? i still couldn't find a job and lenora tried to help but she just didn't know how to. a few months later when arvin left again, i was down in the dumps so, one weekend, about three weeks after arvin left the second time, i took spidey with me up to knockemstiff to see it without anyone else around. and it was perfect, it was a quiet town and expanding with the change of time but it still kept its signature small town style. i got in contact with the guy who had owned the house and told him that arvin and i wanted to own it someday, of course, he was down to talk about it and so for three hours i sat and talked with a total stranger and fell more in love with the house and town more than ever before. bought the house that day thanks to my savings and arvin being in the military which makes them sorta pay for the home...i'm still going to take the credit though.

while arvin was away, the russells helped me move everything in and get it all set up and soon enough i said goodbye to the small town of coal creek i had once known and hello to knockemstiff. of course, the hardest part of all of it was saying goodbye to harry, but i still had his comic book collection and all of his favorites were framed and put around the house so he could be home too.

"natalia i'm here!"

lenora had changed a lot in two years, i didn't get to see her much because i was always workin but she told me all about a guy she met and fell in love with and after a few months of dating they found out she was pregnant, she's currently 7 months i think and she was showing like crazy, but i was so excited to meet her little boy it didn't even matter. i ran from the kitchen to the living room, smiling like crazy as lenora and her boyfriend thomas walked through the door.

"hey momma, how ya feeling?"

of course i was stoked for lenora to have a baby, she had been talking about starting a family ever since the 6th grade rolled around and we learned about EVERYTHING.

"oh don't worry about me! thomas and i just got done at the doctors, got some pictures for y'all!"

she held out pictures from her ultrasound and i immediately put them somewhere safe so i could put them into a baby book later. when arvin found out lenora was pregnant he was so stoked to be an uncle he almost ran home that day, he wanted to be here for everything and for everyone and that's all he really talked about but, he's always here.

"i can't wait to meet the little guy! but first, finishing touches to the surprise party...lenora youll go out first and thomas will follow closely behind, talk and meet blah blah blah and then when he asks why he's here instead of back home just tell him that you have a little surprise for him, simple right?"

they both nodded and waited by the door for the bus to arrive. we only had about 5 minutes before he'd arrive, he left later than he wanted from the airport in west virginia but it was all apart of my little scheme of surprising him with his dream home and life.

"natalia! he's here hide!"

i heard lenora exit the house, thomas following right behind just like we planned, it was all going smoothly. i hid behind the entrance of the kitchen, knowing he wouldn't be able to see me from each way. as i hear footsteps coming closer and the sound of there voices my heart raced but it felt like all my problems had gone away.

"cmon lenora i just want to go home and see natalia, she's all ive been thinking about and-"

"surprise!"

i stood up and stepped out to see arvin in shock, tears welled up in his eyes and he dropped his duffle bag, running up to me and picking me up off the ground before spinning me around. the usual vanilla sent hit my nose again and it felt like i was 19 all over again.

"what are you doing here doll!"

"what i can't be in my house now?"

arvin stepped back from me, shaking his head with a smile, he was so happy he started crying. he pulled me close to him and wrapped his arms around my back, placing a much needed kiss to my lips, a small smile following.

"you didn't, tell me this is some joke-"

"definitely not a joke...i bought it three weeks after you left and with the help of the russell family, the house became our home, and now that you're back, i can finally enjoy it with you...now cmon we made cake!"

arvin chuckled as i dragged him to the kitchen where the cake sat, spidey was running around arvin like a mad man and of course we all shared our stories and laughter as we enjoyed each other's presence as the day began to slowly turn to night.

lenora and thomas left a little bit after cake, it would be a long drive so we didn't keep them long knowing we didn't have any room for them to stay here, so after a few goodbyes and see you laters it was just arvin and i again.

"arvin...you just got home, why are you doing dishes!"

i walked up to him and rubbed his shoulder, i could feel how tense he was, he turned of the water and wiped his hands before turning to face me.

"i haven't washed a dish in almost a year.."

"arvin we can do dishes and clean all we want tomorrow, but tonight, i want you."

lust quickly took over arvins eyes and his hands fell to my waist, he didn't hesitate to pick me up and sit me on the counter, placing multiple kisses to my lips.

"how bad do you want me..?"

he titled my head and started attacking my neck, soft moans left my mouth as i tried to find the words to say.

"cmon doll.."

he placed his hand over my heat, rubbing against the fabric of my underwear slowly but giving me just enough pleasure to let out a gasped moan.

"use your words.."

i don't know how to write smut and after crying over harry's death i don't think i can't SO this is what you get but anyways- life seems to move pretty fast right? the time skip was supposed to be way into the future so i could end the book but my mom said that if the books ending isn't what i truly want then i shouldn't write it, so here i am, continuing the book. :)
