eight. diagon alley again

The next day, they were to go to Diagon Alley again, to prepare for the syllabus and just shopping, in general. Draco managed to convince everyone to come to Malfoy Manor for lunch and owled his parents, who agreed. He and Harry got into bed the night before and Harry said "you think you're gonna like teaching the seventh years?" Draco intertwined their hands, kissed Harry's fingers and knuckles softly and said "probably, and maybe you could accompany me at the class, so that we can spend an hour or so after we're done," Harry laid his head on Draco's shoulder and said "yeah, definitely," Draco kissed Harry's head and the two went under the covers and fell asleep.

The next morning, they were woken up by a Stag, Dog and a Human jumping on their bed. Sirius turned back into human and said "wake up, lovebirds!" and Harry held him and said "five more minutes, Paddy," and went back to sleep. Sirius knew Harry was right and he said "okay," and he also fell asleep between Harry and Draco. James and Remus shook their heads at the two and pulled out their wands. They nodded at each other and pointed their wands at the three and said "Aguamenti!" the three sputtered the second the water hit them. James and Remus put their wands back in their pockets and nodded triumphantly and James said "breakfast is ready, I expect the two of you down in ten minutes," he paused when the two barely moved and said "up! Now!" they got up and Sirius pulled Remus and said "sleep for two more minutes," Remus rolled his eyes and said "wake up now and I'll get you free Butterbeer flavoured ice-cream," Sirius got up and the three men went to the Kitchen.

Harry and Draco went to the bathroom, brushed and freshened up. They changed into their casual wear and went downstairs for breakfast. Before leaving though, Harry insisted on making their bed, by habit as Draco rolled his eyes. They went down, to find everyone there, in their casual wear and ready to leave. They had their breakfast, waffles with chocolate, whipped cream and strawberry, in Draco's words 'a diabetic's nightmare'. As true as that was, no one there had diabetes, so they were okay. They had light conversation as they ate, Ivy and Harry devoured their breakfast. They went and changed for 'sight-seeing wear'. Harry and Draco changed in the room itself. Draco looked at Harry as he changed his t-shirt and put on a white-shirt that was Draco's and comfortable. He wore black jeans and he wore his stolen hair-tie, which he took from Ivy, when he started growing his hair, something which Draco loved and thought was very sexy.

Harry saw Draco looking at him, put on his shirt and said "what?" Draco shook his head and said "nothing," Harry obviously didn't believe him and stepped closer and said "what?" Draco stepped closer as he looped his hand around Harry's waist. He smiled lightly and said "nothing, it's just that you're very hot," Harry blushed and kissed Draco and said "you're very hot too," Daco kissed Harry and Harry's hands went under Draco's jumper and set up camp there, roaming around and wandering. Draco's hands reached Harry's hair as his fingers ran through Harry's thick, black locks. Harry's tongue swiped across Draco's lower lip and just as Draco was about to open his mouth, the door opened to reveal Ron and Hermione. Ron turned pink and said "we're leaving," and immediately turned around as Hermione rolled her eyes and followed him, softly muttering something about 'such a baby,'

Harry and Draco followed them down after calling Ivy, of course. They Flooed to Diagon Alley, Draco didn't let Harry go alone, and James didn't let Ivy go with Harry and took her instead. Lily took Ron and Hermione, while Remus and Sirius came alone together. Harry and Draco thankfully reached the right place and stepped aside for the others to come. They went to Flourish and Blotts, Hermione and Draco decided to buy books, while the adults were looking through the shelves to find something good for students. Ivy, Harry and Ron just stood there, watching Hermione go crazy and Draco go almost as mad as her. Harry smiled as Draco's eyes lit up when he saw a book of his liking.
