five. diagon alley

The next day, Draco woke up and instantly started freaking out. Harry was missing and in his place, there was just a note? He picked it up and it read:

Come to the Pool Room. I took Vee there in the night, don't freak out.

Love, Jay.

Draco's face instantly turned into that of anger. He walked outside towards the Left Wing and ran into Mrs. Potter. "Oh, I was just going to wake you up, love," she noticed his face and said "what's wrong?" Draco tried to calmed himself and said "Harry took Ivy and they went to the Left Wing in the Pool Room and just left me a note," Lily's face also turned to one of anger. She and Draco stormed towards the Pool Room after of course Draco accidentally discovered the Music Room. When they reached there and looked around, they were confused when they saw nothing.

Harry saw his mum and Draco's faces and quickly woke Ivy up. "Vee! Get your ass up! We have angry people out for our throats," at those words she understood that Lily was looking for them. They quickly packed up their stuff and flew down. "Sup?" asked Harry trying to be nonchalant. Draco turned red with anger and said "you disappear, at Merlin knows what time, leave me a note and immense stress in the morning, take your sister to the top of a glass roof, and you say 'sup?'" Lily was impressed with Draco but decided to compliment him later and said "explain yourselves," Ivy smirked and said "well, we wanted a nice, nightly soak and came here, but then decided that stargazing was a better option," Harry snorted and high-fived Ivy while Lily looked at Harry and said "you're older, tell me the truth," damn, the 'you're older' shit, he thought and looked guiltily at Ivy and when she gave him the go-sign for the truth he looked at them and said "well, you see, Vee had a nightmare and so I woke her up and we flew up to the Pool Room and stargaze for sometime before falling asleep, that's the whole truth," Lily's face softened at the truth and she said "no using your wand today, for you Harry, and for Ivy no using your wand tomorrow because your wand wasn't yours in the afterlife," she nodded and then the four of them went to the kitchen for breakfast. They sat and got some fried eggs with toast and some sausages. "Thank you Issy," she bowed and left to her quarters. James walked in with Sirius and Remus, their hands intertwined. "Morning Potters!" said James cheerfully, Sirius and Remus yelled at him and said "shhhh... just shut up!" 

James looked at Sirius and said "are you hungover?" Sirius gave him a mock-offended look and said "am not! test me," James smirked and said "where does the lion live?" This conversation got too weird for the others and they just collectively decided to just get out of it. Sirius smirked back at James and said "he lives in the jungle the mighty jungle," James' smirk dropped and said "yeah he's fine," everyone chuckled at the conversation and then Lily decided to change the subject. "Your children and you godchildren," she pointed at James, Sirius and Remus and then continued "went to the Pool Room last night and this morning, Draco and I found them coming down from the bloody roof," James put on a serious face and said and said "how did you get up?" Ivy thought that he'd yell but spoke anyway "we took Harry's broom and then flew up, used strengthening charms and stargaze until we fell asleep, that's the last time I'm repeating this," Harry noticed that Ron and Hermione hadn't come down yet, so he asked his mum where they were.

"Their still in their rooms I didn't wake them up," she rushed and woke them up. They came groggily and Hermione's hair was even more puffed up than usual. "Morning Potters, Lupins and Granger" said Ron cheerfully, just like James as he reached for the food. Draco cleared his throat and said "you're forgetting a Malfoy, Ron," Ron smirked and said "oh, I didn't forget anyone, I counted you as a Potter," Draco and Harry blushed worse than Ron's hair. Before anyone could say anything more, Remus said "what are we doing today?" Lily smiled and said "Diagon Alley," the children's ears perked up and Ivy said "can we get me a wand today?" and Ron said "can we go to Florean's as well?" Sirius' ears perked up at that and he said "yeah can we? The kids and I will love it there," Lily and James looked at each other and gave eachother smiles that said 'what are we going to do with this manbaby?'
