Chapter 14: Don't Forget

Sorry minna-san... I've been having writers block lately. So please endure with me just for this chapter!

Therese's POV 

  "And you call yourself that..." I trailed off as I feel myself weakening until I can no longer move my body. Then I fell limp against my kidnapper's shoulder. "Don..."  I can barely hear her now. My consciousness gradually faded away.

***Dream*** 

  "G'morning Rese! Get u- Oh..." A Red headed guy marched into a room and I rubbed my eyes open. He grinned at me. "You know, you look cute. Especially when you just woke up." A girl with a brunette hair showed up behind him. They were both wearing the opposite of the BWO unform. Instead of black, it was white... Even the linings were now black. The vest and all. I looked down at my clothes and returned my gaze back at them. "Get out you two." I yawned. "Seems like my princess is grumpy." He chuckled. The brunette hugged me tightly. "Silly Therese! Get up or else you'll be late." She laughed. I scrambled off the bed and took off my clothes. But before that, I said,"Do you plan to watch me?" They both blushed and exited my room right away. 

  I took a quick shower, wore the same weird uniform as them and headed out. I found them both waiting for me. "Took you long enough." The girl said. I just laughed at her then checked the time. "Let's get going or else we'll really be late."

  Suddenly the scene changed into and office. "Therese, you are to stay in the Dimension Traveller Department for some reason. The organization is a complicated situation right now and we want you to keep an eye on the D.T. and guard them from the inside of the department itself. Some will stay on the sidelines and reassure your safety as well as the D.T. Do you understand?" The atmosphere in the office seems tense. "Yes sir!"

***End of Dream*** 

  "Seems like our little fighter is awake." I sat up straight and rubbed my head. My kidnappers have exposed their faces to me. "You know what will happen if I get out of here and report you right?" I'm surprised that they didn't tense up. "You know what will happen if you do right?" "I do." I sighed. "You have the potential to become one of us." I rolled my eyes. "So?" I snapped back. "Nevermind." The lady who I argued with spoke. I got out of bed. "We forgot to introduce ourselves. I'm Luke, the head of this group." The guy with brown-ish black hair said. Then he motioned for the another member. He had ebony black hair. "Den." He also gestured to the lady I teased. "Stacy." Then to the next one. "Mark." Lastly,"David." I smile then said, "I'm Winter. It's nice to meet you!" 

  I can't believe they are telling me to run an errand for them. I have to buy them ingredients for dinner! But a deal's a deal. "As long as I get a place to stay and food to eat." Stacy crossed her arms. "Yeah. Now go." I left their base and did what they asked of me.

  I forgot that I wasn't from this place so I had a hard time asking for directions from strangers. It was difficult. "I'll take 3 of these please." I gave him the money then left. I was finally able to buy the last one on the list. My other problem this time is how should I get back? I forgot where their base was! "Now where was it again? I know I've passed this side of the town before." I continued walking not knowing where to even start looking. "Need some help?" David showed up. "Good timing. Let's go back." I tugged his sleeve.

  Its been a few days since I've been staying here. I still ran some errands for them. They also allowed me to go out from time to time. But I don't get it. Why are they still keeping me alive? We were gathered together for a meeting. "Why do I have to attend? I'm not even a member of the 'Red Abyss'. You guys often go in and out doing stuff I don't know about. Isn't this meeting only intended for you?" Right before Luke could reply, I was sucked in a portal.

  What's happening? Oh.. That's right. I'm supposed to be here for the mission. How could I forget and act foolishly? 

   The portal dropped me into the office of the head. I suddenly remembered my dream. That means I wasn't supposed to be a Dimension Traveller in the first place. Then a flashback hits me.

***Flashback*** 

  "Bye Therese... Goodluck!" The same brunette gave me a weak smile. The red head patted my head. "See you soon." And with that I left. I felt a burning sensation in my chest. I don't know why... Maybe because there might be a chance that I won't be able to see them again. "Farewell... Erise and Ken."

  Ken... I met a guy named Ken also.. Could he possibly be the same Ken I knew? Could he have always... Been  there?

*** End of Flashback*** 

  "Therese, time is running out." The head of the D.T.D. told me. "Don't worry sir." I composed myself, remembering all the things I went through. I tried not to act childish like in the dimension I was in earlier. Even I myself can't believe I acted that way. I  really am pathetic aren't I? "Can you recite the riddle again?" I nodded.

"Memories we never made

 Roses that were never blue

 Colors that started to fade

 Lost between worlds, me and you."

  He nodded in approval and I continued speaking." Memories we never made means that we start to forget the times we had laughed together, cried. It confuses us then it will seem as if we never did that in the first place. As if we never made thse memories together. Roses that were never blue, we start judging something by its appearance. Not knowing its true colors. Colors that started to fade, what we felt  long time ago starts to gradually fade away. Then it leaves an empty space in our heart. This leaves us wondering. At first you won't notice it but if you concentrate, you'll feel it for sure. Lost between worlds me and you, we start to get lost in this confusion. This is where things get difficult since we are blinded. We forget our real purpose " As I said this, the BWO symbol started to glow. It gave off an immense amount of light that even I squinted. Then all my memories came it all came rushing back to me. I embraced the warmth it gave. It was surely overwhelming.

Hey bunnies! Its been a while. Anyway I'm planning to publish another book entitled 'Full of Surprises'... Watch out! X3 Sorry I wasn't able to update any sooner... Anyway how's life?
