Chapter 7: Troubles of our own

Therese's POV

  I hopped on the stones one by one.  When I reached the other end of the pond, there was a large mossy tree that had vines hanging all over it. It was covering the other side. I pushed the vines away and...

  And I saw another wooden door. But it was smaller this time. Black metal secured it on the mossy wall and I brushed some vines away and held on the small doorknob. I twisted it and when I was about to open it, I heard a masculine voice.

  "Sir Jonathan, what are you doing?"

  I crawled out of the vines and had a few scratches because of the pebbles, hopped over the stones and went to the other side of the pond only to be caught by a tall man in a tail coat.

  "I roamed around and tried to familiarize myself with the place." I looked up to him since he was tall.

  "I'm sorry sir, but we have to get you clean before her majesty arrives."

  His emotionless face is uncomfortable.

  "Yes..." I sighed while following him back to my room.

***In The Room***

  "Sir, can you please undress and head to the bathroom?" He said plainly.

  "Mm." I was a bit bored already so I went to the bathroom and undressed there since I don't want the butler to see me change. Although they call me 'sir' or 'lord' I still am a girl.

  I dipped my body in the bathtub and let the warmth of the water comfort me.

  What was behind that door? How did that butler find me?

  I shrugged the thought off, grabbed a robe and went back to room to see the same butler waiting for me.

  He place the clothes on the bed and I told him to wait for me outside since I can change by myself. He bowed and dismissed himself.

  After changing, I went out of the room and the butler was still waiting for me.

  He motioned for me to follow him and I did. What else could I do? I still don't know my way around this place.

  We descended down the stairs.

Third person's POV

  Therese lost her memory, is disguised as a young man, and is currently living with her majesty, Queen Victoria.

  On the other hand, James and his gang are facing troubles of their own.

  "We are in the middle of the forest and do you-" Reya was cut off with Bryan's booming voice.

  "RUN!"

  "Wait, wh-" James didn't let Reya finish her sentence. He grabbed her hand and ran.

  Then a wolf with grey fur came into sight and is chasing after them. As a result, their group separated.

  The wolf chased after James. Reya climbed a tree and Bryan was nowhere to be seen.

  This was a lot tougher than what they expected it to be. Finding Therese is gonna take a lot more than this and they don't know what's waiting ahead of them.

Grace's POV

  Its been three days since we last saw Therese. This dimension is too big for three agents. Looking for her will take a while.

  So here I am, in the City of... well, I'm not sure of what the name is but this place sure is stunning.

  I walked over a fountain and stared at it for a while. Instead of a round shaped structure keeping the water in, it was a hexagon. Which is an odd structure for a fountain. It had another hexagon-shaped structure in the middle of it, it was three times smaller and is overflowing with water and in the center of that small hexagon, was a cold metal hose that faced the sky. Water freely bursted from its opening in the top.

  I snapped myself and carried on to my task. FindingTherese.

***TimeSkip***

  Its already late and I need to find a place to stay or I might pass out. Its been three days since I slept. Three days! My eyelids were droopy.

  I wobbled over the sidewalk and found an inn.

  Good thing I brought money with me. If I haven't, I don't think I would know what to do. I can't just sleep in the corner right?

  I entered the inn and you could guess what happened next.

  I got to my room, took a short shower, and hopped on the bed. As soon as my head touched the pillow, I immediately fell into a dreamless sleep.

I made this chapter shorter than the rest... Cuz exam just ended and I ain't feeling good cuz of all the cramming I did.

You know... School. I even got frustrated because I studied a different subject and when I arrived at school, I found out that we were supposed to take an exam about this and that and... (-.-") lets just say 'IT DIDN'T TURN OUT AS I EXPECTED IT TO BE'.

Anyway tell me what you think bout this story while I cheer myself up with some marshmallow or something.
