Liam hated crowded places, and being around more than six people at a time made him extremely nervous so he was left wondering why Paul sent him out to the club with Zayn, of all people. On his own, Liam blended in with the crowd of younger adults. But Zayn was a major distraction. People gravitated towards the slightly older man like magnets, and Liam had always been fine with that. It kept him from being the center of attention, and in Liam's book that was a blessing of epic proportions.

However, Liam could hear Jasper Collins laughing, and partying with his friends about three feet away from them. Jasper had been one of his main bullies in school, and he still felt the slightest bit tense, even though he took boxing classes. In the same room with Jasper, he felt twelve again.

But Zayn was attracting attention everywhere, and Liam hoped that somehow, Jasper wouldn't notice that he was there.

Liam really wanted to go back to the hotel, to sulk in his own little corner as he read over the comics he had collected. Surely, he wanted to be there more than here. But Paul put his foot down, he'd sent him and Zayn to the club. According to Paul, they had to "go out" more often.

Liam was curious why Jasper was in London, England, but he would guess that it was a dumb reason. Liam knew that technically Jasper didn't need a reason to be anywhere, he was a British citizen.... just one who got his jollies off from shoving twelve year old boys heads in toilets, and tying them to goalposts in their underwear.

Liam guessed that there was a possibility that the man had changed, but could he change? Could anybody change?

"Oh lookie what I found here..." A cocky, and way too familiar voice said, and Liam paused, his entire body shocked. He knew there was a chance of this since he'd seen the man with his friends, but Liam had hoped with everything in him that it wouldn't come to this.

"I-I..." Liam couldn't find his tongue, though in the presence of Jasper Collins, he didn't think he could blame himself.

"What, come here looking for a girl that'd finally lay you?" Jasper sneered, and his friends laughed a bit.

Liam wanted to bite back, wanted to say that he'd made out with the Sophia Smith, but he knew that Jasper would tell him that wasn't true, even though it was so, so true. He wanted to say that he had the ability to get laid anywhere he went, but he didn't. Liam couldn't honestly say that, and it stung a bit. "I-I umm..."

"What? Cat got your tongue?" Jasper sneered, and Liam flushed brightly, feeling embarrassed. He felt ridiculous, a childhood bully had him running like a puppy with its tail between its legs.

"N-no..." He stuttered.

"Something wrong, pretty boy?" Zayn asked, wrapping his arm around Liam's shoulders in what felt like a possessive boyfriend would do if he was being challenged. Liam calmed slightly, at least now Jasper can't try anything... he thought to himself. Liam knew that Zayn was just being Zayn, but... it felt different.

"U-um..." Liam said shyly, unsure of what to say. He didn't want to sound like a whiny child, and he certainly didn't want Zayn to think he wasn't able to stand up to a bully. Liam felt utterly ridiculous as he stood there, tripping over his own tongue.

"Hey, I'm Zayn." Zayn said, sticking his hand out to shake hands with Jasper. Jasper blinked in shock, and he shook hands with him. Zayn pulled Liam close to him, and wound their fingers together as if they were a couple. Jasper didn't miss that, at all.

"O-oh..." Jasper said, now he was the one stuttering.

Used to, before having met Zayn, Jasper was attractive to Liam. He was handsome, in a very boy next door type way, and he had pretty blue eyes that were deep. His lips stayed pulled back in a very cocky sort of way. His chiseled face and blonde hair made up for his lack of personality. Liam had thought of Jasper as muscled, until he met Zayn that is.
