Lacey's POV
'Ring!! Ring!!!'
I grabbed my books and binder and filed out of the classroom with the other kids. Today was a long day, so I decided to walk home. I made my way to the main street, and saw someone in front of me. I'd know that hair from anywhere.
I jogged up next to Luke, and we greeted each other with a smile. We don't need to talk.
For a while, it was silent, then we began talking about school and our classes.
Our route went down three streets and by the park. I lived right by the park, and I figured since he was leading, he did, too.
Walking on the outskirts of the park, we were laughing about something, but my laughs quickly transitioned to screaming.
Luke seemed to quickly recognize the person. I didn't know him, but I knew he went to our school. He was the type of guy all girls stayed away from. I figured out why, but had never actually seen why; until now. Trevor was beginning to grope me.
"Let. Her. Go. Now," Luke let out a low, protective growl. I looked at him, with big, doe eyes. I have never heard that noise come from harmless Luke. At least that's what I thought he was... He took a step closer, and Trevor lifted his hand higher up my shirt. Trevor was smiling. Chuckling. But Luke could see the terror in my eyes. I attempted to squirm out of his grip, but that only ended with Trevor tightening his grasp.

Narrator POV
Luke was pissed. He had no idea what was happening to himself. All he knew was that he did not want Trevor touching Lacey. Ever. Not even a finger. This was too much for Luke. For the first time, he really, really so desperately wanted to see blood pouring out of Trevor, and he was going to be the one to cause it.
Luke charged at Trevor and Lacey, Trevor's eyes widened at the sight of Luke jumping on him and Lacey.
Trevor's head slammed against the concrete the way Luke's had so many times before.
Lacey was overwhelmed by the whole thing, so many things racing through her mind, such as: who is this dude GROPING me, Luke is absolutely ravenous, Luke also smells amazing, I'm right between two guys who I'm pretty sure want to kill each other, and ooh, look I'm getting shoved out from between them.
Luke was on top of Trevor for once. For once, Luke was punching him. For once, Luke's hands were getting covered in blood, and it was not his.
Trevor threw Luke off of him, but only after he could barely see, and had blood spewing out of his nostrils. His head throbbed from hitting the concrete and his body ached from getting punched and kicked. He was pretty sure he was going to pass out. But he still had something...
Luke's eyes widened at the knife Trevor had in his hand. He had not noticed that before. He thought not another thing before Trevor barreled towards him with the weapon. Wait, no, he was going towards Lacey. Again, the wolf instinct in Luke wanted to kill him. Trevor was making good progress, in his condition and all. Luke caught up however, and threw himself against the knife he had seen a few times before. He did not care if he got cut. 'Lacey will leave here uninjured,' thought Luke.
In one swift move, Luke grabbed one of Trevor's arms and grabbed the knife out of the other. He had already won; Trevor was on his knees right now. But he still needed to win, for now and forever. He looked into Trevor's blank, brown eyes, and growled barely above a whisper, "You may be thinking about killing me, but remember what I do to people who try to hurt me." With that, Luke slit a thin line into Trevor's arm. Trevor screamed louder and louder with every centimeter Luke cut. Luke dropped Trevor's arm and knife. He was done. He had won.
