Lacey's POV
I seriously have no idea what Luke has in mind. All through dinner and the movie, you couldn't slap the smile off of him. I had to admit though...it did look absolutely adorable, seeing him that happy.
He parked along the curb and turned to face me. "Alright, now I'm going to lead you into the house. But you have to keep your eyes closed," Luke demanded, adding the last part on in a rush.
"Whoa there pretty boy, what are we doing?" I asked, laughing at his urgency.
"It's a surprise!! Now come on!" Luke begged. He had made his way around the car to open the door for me.
"Okay, fine," I smiled.
He led me in, but I'll let you know now, he sucks at it.
"Ow Luke! That's my shoulder!" I pout, rubbing the shoulder that just got slammed into the corner of the wall.
"Baby, I'm sorry!" Luke exclaimed, pecking his lips against my shoulder. He has a habit of kissing every injury I get; and I love it.
"Just let me walk, I know the way around your house like its my own!" I exclaim.
"Okay then, what room are we by and what room are we headed to?" He challenged.
I sighed, "We are by your mom's room, and we on our way towards the kitchen."
"Damn. Fine, but I'm not uncovering your eyes," Luke huffed, clearly defeated.
With my eyes covered, I make my way to the kitchen table.
"Okay, keep your eyes closed for a second."
I hear a faint beep and Luke began to talk, "Hey guys, it's Luke. But you knew that already. What you may not have known is who this gorgeous girl is next to me or what is on the table. But I'll get to that in a second. Lace, you can open your eyes now."
I do as I was told and take in my surroundings, a natural habit. I laugh as I see what's going on. I move in front of the camera beside Luke. I'm relieved I wore something cute. I wore my navy blue shorts and a white crop tank with an anchor on it, and my hair was in a messy fishtail.
"Hey everyone, I'm Lacey," I beamed towards the camera lens. I watched Luke as he explained what we were doing. Apparently, we are going to play a game called food pong. It's similar to the game beer pong, but instead of beer, we have 5 yummy food choices, like ice cream or a BabyBell, and 5 horrid foods like wet cat food or anchovies, neither of us knowing which cup has the paper with the food type in it.
"Okay let's get started. Rock Paper Scissors on who goes first?" Luke asked, a fire of competitiveness already lit and burning in his eyes.
"Rock paper scissors shoot!" We both shouted, me with paper and Luke with scissors.
I playfully glared at him as I moved to the side of the table with the ping pong balls.
I laughed as my first shot was to the middle cup. I stride over and grab the paper from the cup and read, "Andes Mints. Hell yes!"
Luke chuckles and I know why. I'm madly in love with mints, almost more than I love Luke...hehe.
Luke steps up to his place and just barely makes the ball into the back corner cup.
"Shit!" I hear Luke mumble.
"I'm seriously regretting this recommendation guys..." Luke says to the camera, then reads what he received, "Anchovies..."
I can't help but crack up. That's the one and only thing Luke didn't want to get.
"Shut up Lace!" Luke pretended to scold me, flicking a sick colored looking thing my way.
"Oh gross Luke!" I read my paper: wet cat food. So far, we have eaten anchovies, mints, ice cream, jelly beans, cookie dough, soft boiled eggs, bacon, nachos, and tuna melts.
I seriously couldn't gag down the wet cat food. I ran over to the sink where I nearly throw up the baby bite of animal food.
"Lacey I'm sorry baby," Luke apologized, kissing me on the forehead as I popped another mint (or 5) into my mouth.
I laughed for the camera and dryly stated, "Oh no biggie, it wasn't that bad."
Luke started cracking up and it took everything in me to keep my poker face.
"I really don't know why you're laughing so hard," I finished, finally breaking, laughing with him.
"Alright, I'll be...." Luke needed a moment to control his laughter, "back next week with a new video, hopefully with my girl and let's see if we can get to 16,568 likes! I laughed and jumped up to cover the camera with our hands with him.
When I was sure the video stopped I said, "That was so much fun! We really should do that again!!"
"Yeah! I have a ton of challenges to do, so you can choose which on we can do next week!"
And that started it. Week after week, they made videos, whether they be funny challenges, deep inspirational videos, tributes, covers, or follow-around-for-the-day's.
And soon, their one year anniversary rolled around (so did school, but that's not as big).
