"Hey, Kageyama! Come play volleyball with me! Please!" Hinata all but shouted over the phone. Kageyama winced at the loud, but still beautiful voice resonating through the phone.

"No way, Boke. It's my turn to clean the house today, so I couldn't even if I wanted to."

It wasn't that he didn't want to hang out with Hinata, he just knew he wouldn't be able to hold back if he was alone with his crush for such a long period of time. Kageyama and Hinata talked often, so he was already aware of his mom and sister leaving for a while.

"Aw~ Well, I can come help you, then we can play volleyball after!" Hinata suggested, putting his hoodie on.

"No can do, Boke. Just wait until the break's over."

Hinata groaned, making Kageyama nearly jump out of his skin. Woah, that was hot. "Is there anything we can do together?!" Hinata whined. The raven-head felt a bit of guilt build up inside of him. He shouldn't avoid his best friend and love interest so harshly.

"...I'll come over tonight, okay? We can go to the park and play volleyball tomorrow, so stop crying like a baby, Boke."

A gasp was heard on the phone before a round of adorable giggles hit his ear. "Really!? Awesome! I thought I wasn't going to get to hang out with you at all over the break! I'll see you then, Kageyama! Also, I wasn't crying! I was just upset!"

Kageyama scoffed, picking up the broom from the kitchen. "Whatever you say, Boke." After saying their goodbyes, Hinata hung up, leaving Kageyama to himself.

Once it hit around 8:00 p.m., Kageyama arrived at Hinata's house. The ginger was sitting on his porch with a volleyball in his hand, bumping it up and down. "Oi," Kaygeyama called out. Hinata turned his head, a smile appearing on his face.

In a second, he was in front of the raven-head, volleyball in hand. "Come on! You're just in time! The National Volleyball Olympics is airing today! It starts in 30 minutes!" Hinata grabbed Kageyama's wrist and brought him inside the house.

He had almost forgotten about the Olympics, thanks to Hinata mostly. He quickly pulled his bag off his shoulders and went into Hinata's room to throw it onto his bed before going downstairs to find the ginger.

Hinata was mixing something up in the blender when he caught Kageyama's eyes. "I'm making snacks! We still have a bit of time left. Can you get the chips out of the cupboard?" Hinata nodded his head towards one of the cupboards behind him, his orange hair bouncing around.

Kageyama opened the cupboard and found the bag of chips. Hinata poured the mixture into two separate cups and handed one to the raven-head. "Thanks..." Kageyama muttered as they made their way up the stairs and into Hinata's room.

After grabbing a shit-ton of blankets and pillows and throwing them on the floor in front of the TV, they sat down and curled up, clicking the channel the Olympics was airing on.

There were five minutes until it started, so Hinata decided to make conversation. "Did you get your cleaning done?" Hinata took a big sip of his smoothie as he waited for Kageyama to answer. The raven head glanced at Hinata's wet lips, looking away when the ginger wiped them.

"Yeah, thanks." Hinata giggled, nudging his shoulder with Kageyama's. "You sure you didn't just say that just so you didn't have to hang out with me?" A shocked look overcame Kageyama's face before he roughly grabbed Hinata by the shoulders.

"That's not it! Don't think stuff like that, dumbass!" Kageyama stared into Hinata's eyes, almost daring him to defy him. Hinata giggled, bumping their foreheads together since they were so close. "I was just kidding. No need to get so worked up."
