The Nanny - merder

Meredith's pov.

I sat in the passenger seat looking out on the trees going by so fast as we drove to my new work, I was so nervous I had to get my stepdad to drive me there, also I was scared I would get lost is this big neighborhood.

"Are you okay mer?" My stepdad asked me "yeah I'm okay Richard" I let out with a little sign, my anxiety was though the roof of the car.
I had got a nannying job at this rich couple down town Seattle, they had 2 kids - girls. They both work at the hospital so they needed someone to basically live with them and take care of their girls.

The car when to a hold and we where at their house, I looked at Richard and waited for him to tell me something good, something that could make my heart stop racing like it was trying to win a race to my ass.

"Meredith you don't have to be nervous, they are good people, I work with them at the hospital" he told me calmly and gave me a smile, I smiled back and felt a little bit better, Richard always knew how to calm me down when things got me stressed.

Richard help me get all my things out of the car and he looked at me "you will do good mer, you're the most kind, big hearted, and lovely girl I know" he gave me a hug.

A little after the front door opened and there stood mr. and ms. Shepherd looking out at us smiling and waving, I waved back and took all my stuff and walked to them, I turned around and gave Richard a big smile and he smiled back, he went into the car and drove away.

"Hello Meredith, I'm Addison and this is my husband Derek" she said smiling when we made it inside, this house was so pretty I couldn't stop looking around - when 2 girls caught my eye "and this is our girls Zola and Elly" she said with a smile as they ran by.

I looked over at mr shepherd as I could feel his stare on me "let me show you your room Meredith" he smiled and took my suitcases and started walking up the huge staircase

- maybe i should become a doctor this house is perfect -

"here we are" he said and made a hold at the end of the hallway, he opened the door and a huge room came in sight.

I gasped and he let a little giggle come out "yeah I know we could have made it a little bit more homey but we tried" he said and walked in "it's perfect mr Shepherd" I sad almost running in checking everything out "just call me Derek" he chuckled and put my stuff down on the floor.

"I will leave you to it" he smiled and walked out the room, he closed the door behind him and I was alone to really make the room feel like the one I have at home.
I put some pictures up on the dresser of me and my mom and started to study them a little closer, my mom looked so happy in them she always had this little cheeky smile that could make a frown into the biggest smile.

My mom had such a big place in my heart and after she got her diagnose she just haven't been the same since, but she would always be the same mother she had always been.

A knock was heard on the door and my trance was broken, I looked over as the door opened "hi Meredith I'm sorry to bothering you while settling in but the girls are so excited to meet you"  Addison smiled at me as the girls stood behind her kind of hiding
- they must be shy, I felt them I'm a new person in their home - "yes of course I will be just out" I smiled back.

I sat down on the bed for a minutes figuring out how to make the best impression for the girls, I didn't want them to think I'm some kinda old granny nanny who didn't know how to have fun.

I went down and mr. and ms. Shepherd was sitting in the couch chatting while the girls was playing with their dolls in the corner "girls get over here Meredith is here" Derek said the girls looked up at me and went to sit on the couch, I stood there in the middle of the room while they all looked at me.

" hi girls my names Meredith I'm gonna be your new nanny while mom and dad is working at the big hospital helping people " I smiled and they lighted up " she's gonna take good care of my little princesses" Derek said while smiling.

The girls was laughed at Dereks comment "so girls do you have any questions for Meredith?" Addison said and looked at them "hmm do you like unicorns?" Zola said and looked all excited for my answer " how could I not!" I chuckled " they are the most Beautiful thing ever - like you girls!" I continued, my comment made them giggle "Dad" Zola said "I really like her!" She continued and ran to hug me.

"Can we have a snack now daddy?" Elly asked and looked At Derek " sure my little buttercup" they ran to the kitchen to wait for someone to help them get it "so Meredith first task of the day, help the girls get a snack" Derek chucked "I'm right on it!" I said and started walking away

" the girls are really gonna enjoy her" Addison said and started walking to the kitchen, "yeah" said Derek and when Addison where out of sight "so I'm i" he continued under his breath
