"You know he might actually still like you" will says "huh" i say looking at him confused "mike still likes you, you can tell from the way he was looking at you before he left"will says. "no no no i'm sure he doesn't he has a whole girlfriend and plus we was 7 or 8 when he liked me" i said. while walking up the hill.
"made it" dustin says "yeah after 5 hours" i responded "why couldn't we just play d&d" will ask. "im so thirsty" lucas says. the party start setting up cerebro when i see the sunset i look at my watch to see what time it is "shit, shit, shit" i say "lucas tell me what happens later alright i gotta go my dad is going to kill me if i show up at home after dark twice in a row" i say while packing my stuff up "wait but you cant go" dustin says "unless you met my dad i do have to go also have to pick up my little sister sorry dustin goodluckkkk" i say while running down the hill.
when im about to eat dinner there's a knock at my door "who is it" i ask "it's mike" the person from the other side of the door says "GO AWAY" i yelled " i will keep knocking on your door until you open it" mike says. "what the fuck do you want" i ask. "i want to talk to you about what happened" mike said and i unlocked my door and told my dad i'll be outside for a minute. " what mike" i ask "im actually sorry, yes i know im dating el and what i did was only because of the past memories and it wasn't right but please don't tell el" mike says "i knew it" i said then walked back into my house.
I called lucas to see what happened after i left "all we did was set it up and literally nothing happened she isn't real" lucas said "i told you now you owe me 25$" i said laughing. "also my mom said your dad was at the house so he knows you wasn't watching your sister" lucas said "surprisingly he hasn't said anything so i don't really care, he just probably tired about yelling at me all the time or it was that i took her to my aunt house so he don't care" i responded.
"hey y/n" mike says "hey" i responded "so don't you know how el is back" mike says "yeah and what about it" i responded. on my way to max house i see her with eleven and just decided to wait at her porch. "wait what" i responded "then he said he miss me and just hung up" eleven says "that's a bitch move" i responded "yeah because he's a piece of shit" max responded. "what" eleven ask "mike doesn't have jack shit to do today, and his nana obviously isn't sick" max says "yeah he's straight up lying to you" i say. "i can guarantee you him and lucas are playing atari right now" max says looking at me "i don't know really lucas is more of a boring person so probably something worst" i responded. "but friends don't lie" eleven days. "yeah, well but boyfriends lie" i say "all the time" max says.
"you're going to stop calling him, you're going to ignore his calls" max says pacing around the room "isn't that just a lot to do max" i ask and then eleven and max look at me confused "he liked to her y/n so no, as far as el is concerned he doesn't exist" max says. "doesn't exist" eleven ask "it means ignore him" i replied "he treated you like garbage el" max says. i suddenly felt this guilt in me and felt like it was time for me to leave cause what if he's ignoring her because of me what if everything was my fault for this? "hey guys i have to go but good luck eleven" i say leaving out of max house.
as i walk in the house when i see my dad with my sister eating ice cream "your friend mike was trying to call you and you wasn't home and he said call back it's super important" he says while getting up from the couch and walking into the kitchen. "ugh i'll get to it later" i say walking into my room. i go to hop in the shower from all the sweat i had from being outside and then when i was finished with the shower i detangled my long curly hair to put it in a low ponytail and decided to finally call mike back. "hello" mike mom says "hi ms. karen is mike home" i ask and in the background i hear her yelling for mike to answer the phone. "hello?" mike says "you called me" i asked.
"no your not going to break up with your girlfriend because you suddenly have feelings for me again" i yelled at mike "well hoppers already threaten me why can't i" mike asked "because i was just with eleven today and she was upset about everything and max was feeling her head telling her to dump you for lying" i responded "well technically i am" mike says "bye mike" i say hanging up the phone.
that was a lot to handle, as i was getting ready to take a nap i suddenly here my father yelling at me to answer the phone "hello" i say "hey y/n it's max, el asked if you wanted to go with us to the mall" max says, as much as i wanted to go i just didn't have the courage to. "i wish i could but i'm starting to get allergies because you know the season and i just don't feel really well" i say. "well we hope you feel better" max says "thank you" i say hanging up and going to my room to finally sleep on every problem i have.
